SIMPLY STUNNING!! Love learning new techniques!! TFS!! Also, a dollar store bead tray is perfect for embossing as the powder can be returned to the container by unscrewing the corner caps to create a funnel to pour through. A perfect patch will also stop any extra powder from adhering to the paper. They are so whimsical, so pretty!! Blesings, Michelle

Really pretty, I've never embossed anything I just might have to try this! I love vellum, its so versatile and I think a staple in so many different crafting applications.

Give it a shot! I don't think embossing is very hard.. it depends on how much crafting experience you have though I would assume.. Start with something simple and do it a couple of times until you get the hang of it! You can do it!! xoxo Jen

I've just come across your tutorial in the recommended in KZread. I used to do an awful lot of parchment craft a few years ago, but a lot of other crafts have pushed it aside, I love shabby chic and mixed media, love working with lace, but you have reminded me of me love of parchment craft, I used to do colouring, piercing etc even some 3D stuff like your beautiful butterfly...am going to dig my stuff out and have a lovely play, but first I think I'll pop on over to your site and see what else you have done. What a great idea. I had seen it before, but done on clear plastic soft drink (aka soda pop to American & Canadian people) bottles which gave a 3D curved effect then cut out & threaded onto fishing line with beads also & made into hanging mobiles, but I had forgotten all about it. This was a great reminder as now I volunteer for cardmaking with older people & they will enjoy doing this I am sure. Thanks again.
