I feel you but if it was a legit hand crank it would take hours of cranking for those batteries to get charged up. Not very practical since he needs to power up the voltmeter for display.

This is awesome, im actually planning on building one as well as a prop (tempted to try to mount a real powerbank into it too) and this just motivates me even more!

While this is a good looking design, It could have been an actual hang cranked charger, and not just a battery bank.

Impresive man,the charger and the watch,sadly i dont have money,but i am sure if you do some of this chargers with the watch you could sell a lot of thems...there is a lot of people who love this kind of things.

How would you go about making the lever mechanism for cranking the motor fully mechanical? He just used a electric motor to move the gears to spin the dynamo “motor”. The reason why I ask this question is because I want to mount a actual electric motor to generate power. But I want the crank to be fully mechanical with the gears. Just like how it is in the game! Love your videos btw keep them coming!
