• ½ cup warm milk • ¼ cup luke warm water ... are not the same. Also in what universe does 2 cups of flour equal 400g ? I appreciate that you are trying to share information , but share the correct information as to not confuse people even more.

@@zonemyparkour No one is crying mate. I was just pointing out that • ½ cup warm milk • ¼ cup luke warm water is not the same amount. We live in 2023 by the way, i`m pretty sure 90% of the population can use google to convert imperial to metric . They don`t need someone to tell them 1/4 and 1/2 is the same amount and that 1 cup of flour is about 200g and not 120g. Either the video description is wrong or you are . Just saying .. if u can`t handle a little criticism, then maybe you have a bit of an ego problem/frustration/trauma or u need to cry a little ... which is fine.

I used water and added 2 tsp baking powder. I didn't let them rest... straight in the oven on 225 °C. Perfect.

You added baking powder on top of the yeast or you used baking powder instead of yeast?

Even though I saw meat in the thumbnail I trusted my intuition and your consistency :) I skipped the first few seconds where you normally show the finished product and I skipped the end when the dead animal was added 😁 So I could only watch 4 minutes and 45 seconds, but that is over 80%, which I dare say is significantly more than some of the comments that you have received so far 🙄 I wonder, when you say a 2 hour wait for the dough to rise, are you constantly watching the clock or do you set a timer? At my age I think that I would have to set a timer I think. You managed to get 5 pitas out of those ingredients, quite impressive. When you was cutting open the Pita I was thinking, half a pound of butter would go nicely with that right now :)
@HungryManKitchen
3 жыл бұрын
I'm also setting a timer Richard 😁 You are right, butter is even better than doner for this bread 😊
👍👍💚🌹✌️
I've been making pita bread for a couple of years now, why do I have a thin side and a fluffy side? Thank you

What makes it different from pita bread?
what type of flour did you use , and at what temperature was your rising
@HungryManKitchen
3 жыл бұрын
It's all purpose flour but high protein flours work even better. You can find the ingredients in the description. The rising temp is room temperature.
The music is beautiful.Pls give me the name of song and artist

Is it possible to cook it on a flat top grill like tortilla/lavash?🤔
@HungryManKitchen
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it will work, but the texture will be a bit different. It will not puff like this, as it will only get the heat from the bottom. See my video for Bazlama bread, which is almost the same to what you are asking.
wish we had normal metric units for ingredients...
if you use some Persian Characteristic like The Great Cyrus or Persian Tiger, it will be great :))
Is this about 15cm per pita? Or about how many grams of dough per pita?
@HungryManKitchen
Ай бұрын
Yes, 15 cm per pita and about 40 g dough.

To be honest, never tried with almond milk and flour, I'm not sure if you can get it puff up like this :(

So lame that you sifted the fluor that you got clean from the store. Everything for the camera, right?
