How to make tray with router
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
#tray #router #woodworking
I made two types of tray. One is normal tray. the other is pen tray.
I used bosch gof1600ce router, bowl bit, spiral bit and shopmade router plate made of 10mm thickness acryl.
I wish my video is helpful to viewers. thanks.

Nice Gifts and Hobby woodworking! I would need to make 4 per hour to make a living. So, production methods would need to be incorporated.

This was one of the most beautiful videos I’ve ever seen on KZread. In terms of visual communication, passion in handcraft, design of the product, safety usage of tools. And I’ve seen a lot of. Congratulations 👏 Keep up the good quality!

Wow
I’ve got another question for you, if you have a moment. Regarding jigsaws, do you prefer the top handle style you use in this video, or barrel style? I am looking to get a new jigsaw but am unsure which type is best. Thanks!
@a_woodworker
Жыл бұрын
hello Mr. yang. I can't tell exact pros and cons of barrel type handle, as I haven't use it before. I think you should choose handle type according to what position is comfortable to you. Top handle is comfort when you use jigsaw under your waist level, but it maybe uncomfortable when you cut part that is upper than your shoulder level. As your wrinkle and shoulder position are uncomfortable and unstable.
Beautiful! What are the dimensions of the walnut tray, if you don't mind me asking?
@a_woodworker

Thanks. : ) The size of walnut tray is 335mm(length) x 100mm(width) x 33mm(height).

@@a_woodworker thank you for the reply! Do you recall the routing plunge depth for the tray area? And lastly, what size roundover bit did you use for the edges? I have been trying to learn to make small trays like this, so I appreciate the help.

@@jasonyang4685 Depth is 20mm, radius of bit is about 5mm. I believe you can make beautiful tray. Please pay attention to your safety. : )

@@jasonyang4685 I have instagram id (amateur_woodworker_) but I think you don't need to follow because I post only still image of my work but in youtube you can watch whole build process. anyway thanks for asking. : )
You bypassed the process of removing all the internal material. Video went from drilled holes and suddenly a cleaned out internal. Not much help.
@a_woodworker

You can see removing internal material process from 08:05 and I showed drilling hole scene(10:50) because If drilling work was done before using router. It'll be able to save much time. The way of removing internal material after drilling holes is same with showed at 08:05. I hope my comment helps you.
