  • @dokcess

    @dokcess

    4 жыл бұрын

    If I understand you, are u asking when I turned on the stove and when I off it?.. I turn it on right when I set my water on the stove, and I turn it off few mins after pouring in my sugar solution. For it becoming dark ,I dont know what causes that. Though is a double boiler yet u cant use bowls like Aluminum, Aluminum may cause it to change the colour of your soap at the end. If u could see in my video I use a glass bowl ( pyrex) heat resistant and that's what i always use for my double boiler method and sometimes a stainless steel but i haven't always bn successful using stainless sometimes it comes out good and at times not soo good so pyrex heat resistant bowl is what gives me the best results always.

    That's one whole job you will have to do on your own. You determine the quantity by knowing the total batch u would want to make, run it through the lye calculator by giving each oil the percentage u will go for. Then the lye calculator will give u the amount of lye and water u need for your recipe and that will add up to the the total amount of soap u gonna have at the end.

    Hi, are you saying you made soap from Aloe melt and pour soap base ? If yes ,then it could be from the additives you added because, melt and pour soap base has already gone through the saponification process so theres no much to do therefore too much additives will not make the soap solidify after you pour into your mold. Another option is, you can place it in the fridge for 20 minutes so it can solidify faster for you.
