Tiramisu 🤎🤍
📕 Recipe
*Ingredients:
For ladyfingers biscuit base:
- 3 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 120g flour
- 20g cornstarch
- icing sugar
For the cream:
- 240g mascarpone
- 400ml heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 80g icing sugar
For coffee:
- 50g instant coffee
- 70ml boiling water
*Instructions:
1- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
2- Place egg whites into a bowl and whip until soft peaks start to form. Slowly add sugar and continue whisking until stiff and glossy.
3- In another bowl, beat egg yolks, vanilla and sugar. Until pale in color and thick.
4- Sift flour, salt and cornflour.
5- Fold the egg whites into the egg yolks mixture.
6- Transform the mixture into a piping bag and pipe it onto a parchment lined baking tray.
7- Sprinkle icing sugar on top of the formed biscuit.
8- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
9- Add into a bowl coffee powder and boiling water. Mix until fully dissolved.
10- In a bowl, whisk together the mascarpone, heavy cream, vanilla and icing sugar until smooth and creamy.
11- Assembly:
Brush the ladyfingers base with coffee. Then spread the mascarpone cream on top.
Add another layer of ladyfingers biscuit. Brush it with coffee. Top it with more cream.
12- Refrigerate for no less than 6 hours, preferably overnight.
13- Sprinkle cocoa powder on top.
