Basically there is a feature on capcut which allows you to duplicate an overlay or a scene in the maintrack called "copy". It is much easier to extend an overlay by using copy as it is in the exact same place as the previous overlay rather than if u spent the time re-putting the overlay and adjusting it the best as you can.

Tip: you don’t need to go to camera to crop. You can stay in cap cut and then after, you look for something called “edit”. After you see it. Click it, and then press crop! BOom your done.
