OH yay I am so glad my videos are helping you learn how to do jewelry! That makes me so happy. So yes I totally have a suggestion for you about a tool. I have found that jewelry cutter tools DO NOT WORK!!! So I use an electrician cutter tool that is AMAZING!!! Here is the video I did about it and in the description you can click a link and it will take you to the same tool I use. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fY6IwZuNdabKoJs.html

I love your energy! Do you have any stores you would recommend where i can buy pretty bead and things to make jewelry? I've been lowkey getting into making jewelry:)
@DezyJewelry

Yes absolutely So I order online from www.beadsfactory.com They have very inexpensive beads. And a flat shipping rate. So I usually buy a lot when I do order from them. So I buy glass pearls, rondelles, crystal, and glass beads from them. I buy from Micheals when they have clearance. I just did a video about Micheals. And I buy my chain, clasps, crimping beads, jump rings, split rings from Walmart. They have decent prices and I like their quality for that stuff. Oh for Black Friday sales I buy from joannas and Michaels. They have killer sales

Very nice necklace I love it I just have one question what is the thickness of the wire what gauge is it
@DezyJewelry
Жыл бұрын
For this necklace believe i used a 0.3mm. The beads are small so I like using the 0.3 over 0.45mm
Needle point beading tweezers, or regular slant angle tweezers work, really well, for me; when passing wire, from my crimp bead into the opening of my starting beads. I use a special crimping tool, that folds the bead in, on itself and it really secures everything. I’m never happy with myself, if I don’t remember to hide the snipped wire, inside of my components. Have you purchased any cabochons or loose faceted stones, from Amazon? I haven’t had any problems with the faceted rondelles, and have actually been, pleasantly surprised. But I’m very skeptical about the loose stones, especially if there aren’t reviews. Particularly with opals! I’m very interested to know, how others approached buying loose stones and cabs, through Amazon!? Thanks, Cassandra
@DezyJewelry

I have not bought those through Amazon. But beadsfactory.com is a place I trust.
The gold chain did you buy that already made or you put that together and if you put it together how did you do that? I’m a beginner can you tell😂
What size wire do you use fir necklaces. Mine keeps breaking
@DezyJewelry
Жыл бұрын
I use 0.3mm and when I want more strength 0.45mm Hm 🤔 that is interesting it keeps breaking. Where is it breaking at?
what tools u use to cut the chain?
@DezyJewelry

In this video I used a cutter tool Here is the exact one I use www.lowes.com/pd/IDEAL-T-Stripper-Wire-Strippers/3241078

@@DezyJewelry Can I just ask - is there any other alternatives for this? Was it a jump ring?
@DezyJewelry
3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely!!! There is always alternatives. That is the best part about Jewelry Making. Using what you got. So you can use a jump ring and a lobster clasp.

Love your tutotial, what type of wire did you use? Thickness and color?
@DezyJewelry
3 жыл бұрын
I used a 0.45mm Now my suggestion is you use the color word that matches the chain. So if you have a gold chain use gold wire. Silver chain use silver wire. On the day I was filming I didn’t have gold on hand so used silver. But I would have rather of used gold. I get my wire at Walmart. They have my favorite wire.
Is it possible for me to use a nylon wire for this? :)
@DezyJewelry
3 жыл бұрын
I mean anything is possible for material you use to string the beads but you would use a different technique to put on the clasp and connect it to the chain. You would not use a crimping bead. Does that make sense?

Can I just not count? Why does it look like more than 8 inches?
@DezyJewelry
3 жыл бұрын
You don’t have to count it at all!!! 😁 I don’t know why it looks that way. I give numbers and measurements for my viewers that want it and need it. Some of my viewers just look at what I have done and come up with their own numbers or different creation. Everyone is different in their approach. Just like cooking: some people need exact recipes and measurements and others can look at all the ingredients and come up with a dish on their own.
