  • @DezyJewelry

    @DezyJewelry

    Yes absolutely So I order online from www.beadsfactory.com They have very inexpensive beads. And a flat shipping rate. So I usually buy a lot when I do order from them. So I buy glass pearls, rondelles, crystal, and glass beads from them. I buy from Micheals when they have clearance. I just did a video about Micheals. And I buy my chain, clasps, crimping beads, jump rings, split rings from Walmart. They have decent prices and I like their quality for that stuff. Oh for Black Friday sales I buy from joannas and Michaels. They have killer sales

    Needle point beading tweezers, or regular slant angle tweezers work, really well, for me; when passing wire, from my crimp bead into the opening of my starting beads. I use a special crimping tool, that folds the bead in, on itself and it really secures everything. I’m never happy with myself, if I don’t remember to hide the snipped wire, inside of my components. Have you purchased any cabochons or loose faceted stones, from Amazon? I haven’t had any problems with the faceted rondelles, and have actually been, pleasantly surprised. But I’m very skeptical about the loose stones, especially if there aren’t reviews. Particularly with opals! I’m very interested to know, how others approached buying loose stones and cabs, through Amazon!? Thanks, Cassandra

  • @DezyJewelry

    @DezyJewelry

    3 жыл бұрын

    I used a 0.45mm Now my suggestion is you use the color word that matches the chain. So if you have a gold chain use gold wire. Silver chain use silver wire. On the day I was filming I didn’t have gold on hand so used silver. But I would have rather of used gold. I get my wire at Walmart. They have my favorite wire.

  • @DezyJewelry

    I mean anything is possible for material you use to string the beads but you would use a different technique to put on the clasp and connect it to the chain. You would not use a crimping bead. Does that make sense?

    You don’t have to count it at all!!! 😁 I don’t know why it looks that way. I give numbers and measurements for my viewers that want it and need it. Some of my viewers just look at what I have done and come up with their own numbers or different creation. Everyone is different in their approach. Just like cooking: some people need exact recipes and measurements and others can look at all the ingredients and come up with a dish on their own.
