FOLDABLE FLIGHT I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS

Thank you so much foldable flight! I beat the danish record for farthest flying paper airplane for 0-14 year olds. The roof was very low so I could only throw it like 7 meters heigh. I got 30.14 meters (about 100 feet) beating the old record of 27.14 meters and 30 cm short of beating the record for 15+ year olds which is 30.5 meters! 😀

made this plane. I decided to launch it from the balcony. He launched the first one and flew quite confidently. But then the wings began to crack and he began to slowly fall. In general, if you do it well, then I advise everyone!

Dude, we can't call it an airplane anymore. Only the "paper" part is true, that's all. The real ingenuity of a paper airplane, no matter what anyone says, is its ability to glide. It should be able to fly straight for at least a certain distance. But this only draws a parabola depending on the angle and force of throw. This is exactly what happens when you pick up anything and throw it. At most we can call it a "paper spear" or a "paper missile". Because what it has are not "wings" but at best "flaps". You have also piled more than 90% of the weight on the tip in a strange "wrapping" method, as if it were a "warhead", which justifies calling it a "missile".

Great video. Important tip, wings need to form a Y letter with the fuselage, that makes it go further with upside down throw. Also I agreed to share this model to see if people will be able to achieve a better result than me. My best throw in the hangar with a humidity problem was 68m (223.097 feet) very close to 69m that would probably put me around a bit over 70m in better conditions. If anybody gets a better result let me know here if possible.

I threw it with a slingshot and got 273 feet( the conditions were warm about 38 degrees celcius)

I have been used backward finger grip from 2015. But , That is very interesting that even little diffrence of backward fingergrip made record variance. I havent tried to find small diffrence of finger grip.

The grip works on this plane because there are so many layers at the back. Most planes would be damaged if you try to throw them this way.

Good dart but it flies in a parabolic arc and one question Kyle, why didn't u post previous weekend? By the way this guy is gonna rip his arm off with that power!

@@FoldableFlight Welp it is not really, all the basis of the design were done around 2010-2011 since I am the one who made it. The small changes like the length and back design for the finder were added later.

@@FoldableFlight you should check it out, it’s a pretty good model and I believe it won the Red Bull paper wings competition in 2019 as well, he posted it 2 months ago I think, on his channel, “Jayson Merril” and I highly recommend checking it out.

Did anyone try using gliders in the distance category or is the landing zone too narrow?

Sadly, the landing zone is too narrow to reliably throw a glider. You only get two attempts, and attempts that land out of bounds are disqualified. Honestly, a lot of people were even throwing their darts out of bounds.

Zone is narrow, humidity is unbearable for gliders in this place. People used hybrids but they were still very bad because of humidity.

@@Videozerker oh that's a shame, humidity really ruins the paper in my limited experience. Seems like it's best to come prepared with 2 different planes then: 1 that has the best maximum performance and 1 that's easier to tune.
