    That's a great question as they freeze a bit more quickly. I still start out at -7.1 and then climb the temp back up once it slushes. I find that they will achieve optimum slushy levels around -3.5 to -4.2. Some will take a bit longer so I still start at -7.1. Hope this helps!

    Yes, all the time, Obet. We've found the easiest solution is to keep straws nearby. If the flow is stuck or blocked by frozen bits, we stick a straw into the spout and it's instantly free-flowing again. You might give that a try and I bet you have the same success!

  • @MultiCasking

    You can, DB, but you'd need one extra step. Since It’s basically a Screwdriver with the addition of Galliano (an Italian liqueur) floating on top, you would use the Margarita Man neutral mix to make a Screwdriver slushy. Then once you pour the slushy into your cup, you'd similarly float Galliano on top. Toss on an orange circle and place a cocktail cherry on top and BOOM you've got yourself a Harvey Wallbanger slushy!

    Hey there, Kirk. Yes, the fan turns which is likely the problem you are having. Is the fan's vent unobstructed? I tried to look up your 10L single tank model but I could not find one that does not have any temperature settings.

    My tanks only hold four gallons each so they won't hold an entire recipe. I create everything from taste and quasi follow the manufactures recipe. I will add that the more water you add, the better slush you create as it's the water that freezes and gives us the snowball like texture.

    Hi!! I just got my machine and used your recipe! I’ve got great margaritas now for a party coming up. I have two questions. 1. Do I need to leave the machine on mixing mode 24/7 or can I turn it off once it’s frozen? 2. If I want to make more can I pour the ingredients on top of the frozen mixture and just remix / refreeze? Thank you! Love the videos.

  • @MultiCasking

    @MultiCasking

    2 ай бұрын

    Hey, that's awesome, Breelan! Welcome to the Slushy Family! Thanks for the kind words! Great questions too. For mixing, yes you need to leave it on but no, not on Slushy mode. You'll need to leave the mix cold while it is in the tank to keep the mix from going bad. Just like any liquid you take out of the fridge, you don't want it getting warm. So, when you are all done with the machine for the night, take is off of Slushy and hit the Cold Drink button. This preserves the mix but doesn't use as much power & takes away the possibility of your tank's exterior from freezing over through the night. For your second question, that is exactly right. Just pop that lid & more more right on in! Let me know if you have any other questions and congrats on joining the family!

    If you keep the extra mix chilled in the fridge then I would not add more until it is half full. Then, with the pre-chilled mix. you should only have a 10-15 min window where the slushy needs to mix before it gets the right texture back. Refilling it when it is too full still can result in overflow if you are distracted by the party. But, yes, you can absolutely add to it before it is empty! What recipe are you using for the party? • @MultiCasking

    5 ай бұрын

    Congrats and welcome to the slushy community! Your life is about to get a ton more fun! Those are two great questions. I will only leave the mixture in the tank for no longer than 2 weeks. I've found that any longer than that, the gaskets may start to break down and need to be cleaned. I used to leave them in the tanks until we were done with the batch. Sometimes that would take 3 weeks or more. When I cleaned the machine, I found the gaskets were torn. I realized this was from too long of an exposure to alcohol. Now, I clean each tank every two weeks or less and I've not lost a gasket since! For overnight temps, I just switch it to "Cold Drink" instead of slush. The next time I want one, I just hit the "Slushy" button and I've got what I want 10 minutes later! Cheers to ya!

    Welcome to the Slushy Family, Crspn. The short answer is: 3 parts wine - 1 part water. Most wine-based slushies are Sangria-style slushies. If you're interested in that mix here is a recipe for a Margarita Man mix, for our 4-gallon tanks: 1 bottle (½ gal) - Margarita Man Sangria mix, 1.4 gal - water, 3 L - Red Wine (4 - 750 mL bottles), ½ L - Brandy. This will make you about 54 8-ounce drinks with alcohol mixed in. Here's the link to that mix: www.margaritaman.com/flavors/sangria/ Also, use the discount code "MultiCasking" to save 15% off and you get free shipping if you order 6 or more flavors, just an FYI. Welcome to the Slushy Family, Sky! To achieve the perfect slushy consistency, you generally need to set your machine to its slush or frozen drink setting. While your machine might not have a specific temperature setting, it should have a mode for slush or frozen drinks. Ensure you select this setting and allow the machine enough time to freeze the mixture properly. If your machine has a "hard" or "soft" setting, choose "hard" for a firmer slush consistency. Every slushy machine needs a certain sugar content to slush correctly. For example, my Vevor machine needs a 13% sugar content. Since you don't have instructions and won't know what content you need to slush correctly, I would recommend starting out with Margarita Man mixes as they are designed for slushy machines and that will take the guesswork out of it for you until you get a handle on your machine. I can help save you a few bucks if that is something you think would be useful. Use the Discount Code "MultiCasking" for 15% off slushy mixes on their website, plus free shipping on orders of 6 or more. www.margaritaman.com/flavors/ I hope these tips help you get the most out of your slush machine. Why 100% Agave? Will it not freeze if it isnt?

  • @MultiCasking

    @MultiCasking

    2 ай бұрын

    No, nothing to do with the freeze rate, Hector. 100% agave is considered a true tequila and provides a smoother taste profile. Some "tequilas" are just grain alcohol with the legal min of 51% agave to make them legal tequilas. Those bottles can leave an odd taste to the mix. So, it's 100% for us! Cheers.

    That's a great question, Patty. I have $28.00 in the tank, and it serves 64 8oz drinks. If you charge $6 per drink, you would profit $356 per tank.

    Hey there, Jordan! First, welcome to the slushy community! That's awesome that we have the same machine! I'm curious, what setting do you have the slushy mode on? I have mine set to -7.1 and that has worked perfectly for me on nearly every recipe. I'd guess that you have it around -3.0 or so. Am I close? I didn't understand your question about, "Could i still that for the 4 gallon container ?" Could you clear that up for me so I can better understand your question, please?

    Hi, what’s the maximum amount of alcohol we can add to the machine? I was told we couldn’t add no more than 1.75 l and we couldn’t exceed that, otherwise it wouldn’t freeze. I’m not too sure how true that is.

  • @MultiCasking

    @MultiCasking

    Hey, Julie! That is a great question! The 1.75 L limit isn't entirely accurate. While it's true that alcohol can prevent the mix from freezing properly, the key factor is actually the water-to-alcohol ratio. Typically, you should aim for a mix that contains no more than 10-15% alcohol by volume. For a four-gallon mix, this means you should add between 1.5 to 2.3 liters of alcohol. If you find that the mixture isn't freezing properly, try adding a bit more water to dilute the alcohol content. The most I've had in my four-gallon tank was 2.5 L and it slushed just fine. Hope that helps!

    I've been watching and liking your videos. If I chose to top off my frozen cocktails with alcohol rather than pour it into my machine, how many oz of alcohol per 8oz drink?

  • @MultiCasking

    @MultiCasking

    2 ай бұрын

    We do that too, Brand. Really, it varies to taste but I normally I'll use 2oz to every 8oz drink. That's about the same ratio you'll get at a bar.

    Si está usando Jose y no es una mezcla concentrada, su proporción de agua será muy diferente a la que usé en este video. Cuando pruebo nuevas recetas, lo mezclaré en un vaso de 32 onzas si me gusta y luego usaré el sitio web de ChatGPT para decirme cuál sería el equivalente para un tanque de 4 galones. Siempre que lo pruebe a medida que avanza, generalmente puede llevarlo a donde debe estar.

    That's a great question, Desiree and a fabulous excuse for me to use my new Refractometer. I'll start putting that information in our future slush videos. This would have been somewhere around 25% ABV / 50 Proof.

    Hey there, Julie! We've got you, girl! Given the original recipe was for a 5-gallon container that makes 70-80 8-ounce drinks, we can proportionally adjust this down to meet your needs for your 1.6-gallon tank: Original Recipe Ratio: 1 bottle (½ gal) Margarita Man® Margarita concentrate 3.25 gal water 2-3 L tequila ½ L triple sec For a 1.6-gallon tank, your machine is around 6 times smaller than Margarita Man's 5-gallon container recipe: Approximate Adjusted Recipe: 0.2 bottles (1/10th of a gallon) Margarita Man® Margarita concentrate 0.65 gallons water 0.4-0.6 L tequila (adjust according to desired strength) 0.1 L triple sec These quantities should be roughly scaled down to fit a 1.6-gallon tank. Make sure to taste test and adjust the alcohol proportions according to personal preferences. I mean, really...that's the best part of crafting your own slushies at home! It's like being a chef! Cheers to ya, Julie and let us know how it turns out for ya!
