I had my first summer pop up this past weekend, and I CRUSHED my sales goal! It was the first time they ever held that event too, so it was great for all the vendors involved 😊

Maybe you could make small tester cubes with an ice cube tray or something like that? And store your others in the shade or possibly even a cooler, depending on how hot it is!

Re: hotspot issue - I work in events and know Verizon sells mobile hotspots that can be used independently of phones!! That might be a good option so you’re not reliant on your phone’s connection that day?? I’m not sure what the pricing would be for that vs upgrading your phone plan but worth looking into I think!

Thanks to you I did my first pop-up shop a couple of weeks ago, and it was a Bridgerton themed pop up shop. I really studied and took in a lot of your (and other creators) videos on how to set up, what to expect and honestly make the most out of it. And I LOVED it! I am definitely planning on doing another when after I move next month but ya girl is LOADED WITH NEW IDEAS ! Thank yoyu so much for being such an amazing inspiration. P.s. where did you get your curved table stand from? I would LOVE to buy that for my next event!

Yes, there are higher fees, yes- you have to input items into the system....but the wifi issue you mentioned is why I also have a square a reader. Square does work for 24 hours offline (for certain readers, so double check their site when purchasing). After 24 hours though you must connect to process payments, but that is never an issue for me. If I do an outdoor one or a new venue where I am unsure of the wifi situation, I now bring that as a backup.

Did my first real popup last weekend and the whole event was a bomb😢. The fee to enter the event went up this year so there was less then half the amount of people attending compared to last year. Last year I had a few items on a group table and the place was packed so.... but this year the festival was dead. I also had issues with my square for the first 45 minutes. It wouldn't connect to my phone. I had tested it the day before to make sure there would be no issues. I completely understand the feeling of being unprofessional when your payment method isn't working. So embarrassing. But you are right technical issues can happen.

Is allowed a 6 x 8 tent in pops up like this? It will help cover your candles and you.I liked your table display. Also, noticed you didn't have much sells, but I am sure your online store is selling How you get to have online sells always? I have a website, but the sales are about 3 a month. I am a new small business, eager to have more clients and learn from the clients. Thank you

@@thediscovergem I would consider it on the high end. But, it does depend on the event itself. There are some that have a high price tag, like Renegade. But they are well established, typically have a lot of foot traffic, and have many artists that can vouche for them. It also depends on your business and if you feel that is you make only a few sales, you are okay with the loss.
