How To Make The Easiest And Best Oil Barrel Barbecue Ever! (No Welding)
Yes it’s that time of year again - our annual rounders match. This year we thought we’d have a barbecue, but when I went to look for the one I made last, it had rusted away completely. So, with very little time to spare, we made a new one. I had to buy some hinges, nuts, bolts and washers - and that was it.
Some will say this is too smokey - but that’s because of the fuel (firewood) and not the design. And it’s deliberate - smoke is part of a good barbecue, surely?

You guys seem so happy. This was very refreshing to watch. Great job on the grill.
You"re the proof of my Grans wisdom, she said "You don't need money to be happy, Though it does make the misery more comfortable"... thank you both for sharing
It’s like I’m watching an episode of Thomas the Tank Engine but it’s about a bbq. 👍
Great tutorial. But the family having fun and enjoying the simple things in life is just awesome!
What fun . What we used to do back in the old days. Just doesn't happen anymore because people change and move away and some die too. I miss them days.
This is a happy video. All the elements were there. 1) easy to make grill 2) a run into the fence blooper, and without a care 3) a lady with accent going on about lots and lots of sausages 3) a drum solo by hand on the grille. Good times, good times👍🏻
This guy is a fucking legend! His family will tell tales about him for generations.
Wow! one of the most simplified DIY for BBQ grill. cant wait to make my own using this video! Thanks!
That pastoral community you manage to gather around whenever needed is the most amazing part of this. Even more amazing than the lovely accent!
this is weird, goofy, awkward and silly... I can't get enough of it!!!😍🤣🤣
The narrator has the most perfect narrating skills!

I loved the video. my father worked for GM for 47 years made his barrel smoker much the same way. Using the same blue barrel.
You did a great job with that barrel ,I like how you are so easy going people, greetings.
This. Whenever someone asks me what my life’s goal is, I’ll show them this.
Love it, going to try this with a big barrel I just picked up for free. Cheers, from Utah, USA.
You guys seem like some of the most kind, generous and genuine people. And your parties always look like so much fun. Thanks for the video. Would love to try this out when I get my own house one day!
I know you all work hard on your farms, so it is so good to see that you take time to play. May your blessings be many!
What i love most of all is the GM emblem on the barrel. Nice representation. And nice job!
The narrators voice reminds me of a PBS cartoon narrators voice. Lol soothing and calm lol
Absolutely love this. The simple and peaceful lifestyle with genuine nature of the people. Live long u people!
Lovely! And the best part was seeing everyone enjoy the meat of your labor! You have such smiley faces and friends. Cheers!

I'm glad I watched this video. I was about to stuff up a perfectly good 44 gallon drum. Thank you.
This is real living, thanks for the post.
Everytime i watch your videos i remember how much i miss living in the country. My garden in suburbs will never match wide rolling hills and everything that goes with it. Thank you for showing what a lovely life you both have, and i love the bbq!

Brilliant. Just what I was looking for AND I had a great time watching, such a relaxing fun time everyone seem to have. Best bit was the crashing in the fence superb stuff. Thank you

Thank you for showing how to build the bbq barrel. Have a great day.
I didn't understand why this wholesome video has so many dislikes, so I started reading the comments. At first it seemed that the comments are mostly positive, so I kept on reading. After reading hundreds of comments I started some kind of picture of what is in peoples mind. Here is the breakdown: - There are some stupid people in the interwebs.
you live the way I hope to one day. Just gotta save enough money for a plot of land. Cheers!

Thank you sir for the very straightforward minimalist approach.
Parabéns ao casal, excelente trabalho! Melhor ainda a "farra" com os amigos kkk muito legal! kkk
where did all those people come from man ???? it was you, your helper and a barrel !!
That is a statement of fact!! These people for farmers are eating like lords!
Just made this as a first "metal" project to cook breakfast for 30+ camping guests and was very pleased with the choice of tutors. Very clear video, everything worked just as described - just be careful with the cuts round the seams of the drum as you really don't have to go very deep to cut through the single layer of steel. I found that ventilation holes were needed to keep the coals burning when the lid was shut and a 3rd hinge was added in the centre but am extremely pleased with the design, instruction and end result. Thank you!
