Description :
In this video Shaykh Hamza Yusuf discusses the spiritual significance of the Day of Arafat during the Hajj pilgrimage, the concept of idolatry and its three forms, and the importance of the Hajj pilgrimage in recognizing human unity and submitting to God.
The Day of Arafat, also known as the "Day of Standing" or "Day of Knowledge," is a pivotal day for pilgrims as they gather at the plain of Arafat in Saudi Arabia, reflecting on their faith and preparing for death. Idolatry, according to the speaker, comes in three forms: a funnel, a weapon, and a Kim fan. The first refers to objects with no benefit or use, the second to the interior understanding of the worshiper, and the third to the human being's direction in life.
The Hajj pilgrimage is a means to help people rise above worldly concerns and enter the realm of pure worship and service, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the value of the otherworldly and serving it. The pilgrimage also emphasizes social responsibility and the bonding of human beings together, serving as a reminder of the deep humanity that unites all people.
Entering the holy city of Mecca, a place of sanctity (Haram), is an otherworldly experience that recognizes the illusory nature of human-made boundaries and breaks down barriers of provincialism, tribalism, and nationalism. The term "Islam" concerning the pilgrimage refers to submission to God, not the state religion of any particular country.

Asalaamualaikum it was good for the only thing to do is to get to know god Allah nothing else not health because we know how to take care of ourselves and if it’s serious then you seek medical help and rest is up to Allah the most merciful most kind..I would love to travel the way shaykh hamza yusuf described and the testimony of truth and blessings of the sacred house but they can’t even do this trampling on each other just to touch the house and that’s why the stone is black 😢😢
