I figured out a way to make console input a while ago, but I think It was less efficient. It relied completely on cloning parts of my console into a "engine" room where all of circuits are

5:40 heres a tip: Set the Gamerule "commandBlockOutput" to false, to prevent it from repeating the same thing over and over and over in chat. and you'll notice he has three command blocks to make the structure. all of them have roughly the same command, however on the middle one, the "~ ~ ~" section is different. change it to "~ ~2 ~". That will make the second falling block eye level with the player. as for the lantern, it is again, the same command, but the ~ ~ ~ is set to ~ ~3 ~. in addition, the BlockState is changed to Name:"lantern".

Okay I completed the command of summoning falling blocks however I can only see one block appear, I'm not sure how you've gotten the lamp or second block ontop

Each block is it’s own command. Almost identical except changing the coordinates and the block state. The second concrete block is simply the same command again but with 1 added to the Y coordinate. The lantern is similar, but with 2 added to the Y value, and the block state changed to lantern.

Teab02, I tried the command in 1.20.5 and it didnt work, i tried someone elses that was /execute if entity @a[nbt={Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:iron_nugget",Slot:-106b,tag:{display:{Name:"\"TARDIS Key\""}}}]}] and it didnt work, i checked if the command block was on repet and always active and it was. Is there a fix for this?

I believe commands changed pretty drastically in 1.20.5. Personally I’d recommend 1.20.1

Hey! So, after watching this I decided to start making a TARDIS, and it's been going good so far. My issue is I want to make it so if the TARDIS is cloaked, it would either not allow me to dematerialize or turn it off for me. My main issue I'm trying to fix is how to detect if the lever is pulled and if it is cloaked or not. Edit - I got it to work

this is a great tutorial but where you cut the clips there's obviously things you changed, like the first key command or doing the exterior, i wish you had just left the full clip in as now i'm really confused

Did you do it via copy/paste? If so, I’d recommend typing it out. Check for syntax errors and ensure that the name of your item is exactly the same in the command and the item itself.

Probably not a syntax error then. Are you sure the name of the item is exactly the same as in the command?

you should probably know that the tag thing doesn't work on multiplayer, I have tried it.

I see the problem. Flip the order of the two command blocks, so that the order they activate are tag first, then teleport And remove [tag=Inside] from the teleport command

I tried to use AI to generate my commands, but AI is useless

this was 9 minutes and 39 seconds?
