Great work and amazing repurposing of a lot of things. Instead of coal, could you have fashioned the use of anither propne tank and made side burner?
@gregoryking9348
4 жыл бұрын
After he showed what can be done with an old gas bottle I had some ideas how to modify it too. The sky's the limit! I want to modify it to use a long lp burner from an old grill for a heat source, a bottom drain with a catch pan underneath, no open hole on the top but use one 1" pipe with a flue to control the heat...which allows it to be used as a smoker too, and another attachment that holds metal kebob skewers instead of the one spindle for gyro meat. But yup...the sky is the limit for modifications. I just want to know where he got the drive ring and what motor he used. Maybe it's all in the description...I just haven't read it yet.
@crimsonfancy
3 жыл бұрын
I'd use lp to start the coals and then turn it off. The flavor of coal is worth the time spent. Removable drip pan for fat and juices and a dustpan type design with handle to catch cut meat rather than the plate. .

It's big job you must love gyros
Super Sache! Danke für das Video!
Muy lindo y fantástico felicitaciones
Great work and amazing repurposing of a lot of things. Instead of coal, could you have fashioned the use of anither propne tank and made side burner?

I'd use lp to start the coals and then turn it off. The flavor of coal is worth the time spent. Removable drip pan for fat and juices and a dustpan type design with handle to catch cut meat rather than the plate. .
Very nice! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Superb! The chicken at the end was 😂😂
Love the repurposed flex plate/ flywheel ,starter drive gear and wiper motor. What’s the recipe for the meat?
Excelente!.
Did someone say ALPASTOR 🤤

My thoughts exactly. I would love one of these, but I don't have welding equipment!
Like,excellent aidea, thanks for sharing
One hell of a job my man
Awesome build. The only things I can see improving is being able to more easily cut the meat and empty the used charcoal.

Don't forget... also a way to have a catch can to drain the grease away too. Nice build!

I think the door will come off cause it's a 2 part hinge 🤔👊🏿🇯🇲

The heat 'box' is on pinned hinges. Open the door...lift up...and the whole thing is easily removed to empty.
