In today's video, I went to "Tadotsu" Town in "Kagawa" Prefecture with the cooperation of "Kagawa" Prefecture and the Olives farm "Ao no Diamond" to shoot how to make the finest Japanese olive oil.
The history of olives in "Kagawa" Prefecture begins in 1908 when the prefecture conducted trial cultivation.
Of the tests conducted in several prefectures, only "Shodoshima" in "Kagawa" Prefecture succeeded in cultivating.
From there, over 112 years, the producers repeated their ingenuity, and the olive oil produced in "Kagawa" Prefecture, which was created while sweating both physically and mentally, was awarded one after another in the prestigious international contest.
The sensory evaluation of taste and aroma also confirms the worldwide evaluation.
I tried tasting freshly pressed olive oil as it was, but the first impression of the taste was just shocking.
The sweet aroma and spicy pungent ingredients surprised my throat at first.
However, I was very impressed when I knew that this is genuine olive oil.
Finally, I made the caprese that I prepared the ingredients on the farm and sprinkled the freshly pressed olive oil on the caprese, which was also surprising!
By combining it with food, the spicy ingredients of olive oil were moderately neutralized, and the role of raising the taste of the ingredients to a higher level, and they tasted the most delicious moments.
The finest domestic olive oil produced by the climate of the Seto Inland Sea in Japan.

    I’m honestly jealous of how japanese domesticate exotic crops and improve its quality from the original through innovation and efforts (ex. Wagyu). I live in korea and here you can’t even find a farm that produce decent quality of wheat. Most of them are imported from US or china. Since korean farms are heavily protected by government programs, farmers don’t see a need to innovate because whatever crappy crop they produce, people and government would buy it. Almost 90% of exotic crops that grow in korea are brought in from japan because for koreans, it’s easier to just bring those seeds from japan than having to innovate out of their lazy ass. I really appreciate Japan’s innovation on every market sector, including their agriculture like in this video. Great job!

    Por más que he mirado en la guía Evooleum, que es la que se encarga de evaluar todos los años los aceites de oliva a nivel mundial, no he podido encontrar ninguno japonés dentro del top 100. ¿De dónde sale lo de calidad de clase mundial? Por lo demás, me ha encantado el vídeo.

    Porque han hecho un concurso internacional en japón para premiarse a si mismo. Jamás había visto usar aceitunas en distinto estado de maduración, utilizar una maquina italiana cuando fabrican peor aceite que el español. Pero sobre todo jamás había visto vender aceite de oliva virgen extra a 200 €/litro cuando en mercadona lo tienes a 3.7 €/litro

    Thanks god! in Morocco 1000 ml costs juste $6 and it's bio and pressed by stone in very old way not by robots! it's delicious and especially with frech bread and cup of thé with menth😋 Olive oil it's a poor people food in Morocco

    透明な入れ物だと店内に置いているだけでガンガン酸化します。 日光が当たろうものなら光合成を始めるので味は更に落ちます。

    蒼のダイヤさんですね 購入させて頂いたことがありますが スペインやイタリアの超一流品にも劣らないものでしたよ 惜しむらくはお値段が…スペインの同等品なら半額です…😅 国産オリーブオイル、がんばってほしいです。

    イタリアでオリーブとるの手伝ってたけどこんな非効率な取り方してなかったぞ。日本のオリーブオイルは高すぎる、普段使いできないならこれ以上国産オリーブオイルの需要は拡大しないぞ。
