    I haven’t had this since I was a kid I’m from the USA and my grandmother friend was from Ghana and iv been looking for this recipe for years I love it with fish and spicy sauce i been to Nigeria and had the cassava and didn’t like as much as the banku it’s 2023 I’m making today thank you sister for sharing God bless your talent 🙏🏾✌🏿

    banku is my favorite but where I am now, there is no cassava here. Never knew I can make it like that with just the corn. Thank you. I will try it.

    faith perkins - Yea we always add cassava to banku just I didn’t have it at the moment and in fact it was very delicious and soft. Meanwhile others are complaining that you can’t add cassava to banku lol people can’t be really selfish sometimes. Thanks my dear 🙏🏾

    Ps it took me almost 1 hour tho😂😄 I. Had the pot on low#3. Every 15min I would stir 45 mins exact

    Hiiii so if I don’t wanna keep it for 3 days but wanna cook it immediately then I just pour the corn meal into the pot just like that? Without mixing it with water first? I only add the water to cook?
