Hi I’ve recently subscribed to your channel and it was by chance that I did… I’ve recently after 30 years gone from windows Laptop’s to my new MacBook M2 Max . I have to say that your tutorial’s are very well explained and I’ve learnt so much. I’m now into the apple Eco system big time with 3 devices and I feel much more comfortable especially with my Laptop. Us more matured users need refresher explainers to function and features and you show this very well! Thankfully Ive changed to Apple for the laptop to considering my new hobby includes content creation. Still a work in progress though 🤭 Keep those videos coming so great! Maybe you also turned on "Button Shapes" in Settings, General, Accessibility, Display & Text Size?

It dosen`t work in all apps

Hi. My iPad font size is where I'd like it ,,, tho on KZread and KZread only and while commenting there the txt size is super small why is that ? ,, I've tried what you mentioned tho still small , barely read what I type in there ! 🤷‍♂️ I believe an update cause this since iPhone is doing the same thing Any helpful thoughts ?

Do you mean in the KZread app? Yes, they have designed it with very small font sizes. Not an iOS issue, but something the app developer has built in.

@@macmost Ic What has to be done then ? I can barely read what I write in the comment bar :( . Funny once since the issue when iPad was off , I got a notification from KZread from something I'm subscribed with and I use fingerprint to start up iPad and when commenting it was good again tho it only lasted for that one post then small again . I tried re inacting the above but nope ,, still small . Weird

@@macmost also for heads up ,, whatever I write the font is the proper like everyone else's , it just when creating a comment in bar that it's super small and like I say barely read or see my own txt there lol Keep me posted if you come up with something hehe 😉 And thank for replying back 👍

Well I didn't fix anything tho I did notice this when and while commenting and obviously the keyboard consumes the lower part of screen and if I pause or tap on screen my input comment bar pushes to the bottom of the screen like it should tho at that time my regular font size appears good again , the proper size then if I resume to comment my keyboard slides up but then text font turns small again :( Just thought to share my found issue

@@_Lazare I use the Zoom accessibility feature a lot when dealing with the KZread Studio app to answer comments. But I still try to do it all on my Mac instead because of this.

I'd imagine TikTok text is pixels right on the video frames, not text that can be adjusted.

hello, nice video! i have a problem. the macbook is connected to a 4k monitor and everything is very small. (eyes grow weak) what to do? I need to increase the fonts of the ENTIRE system while maintaining the 4k resolution. I called the apple service, they offered to reduce the resolution to 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 and that's it! Reduced resolution does not suit me, because I want to see a lot of space. I can increase the font size of the web browser, fine, but I can't do it in menus, reminders, calendar, or programs, and it's too small. please help what to do?

What do you have the resolution set to now? What physical size is the 4K screen?

This is an AWESOME tip, Gary. 👏👏👏 When I tried your tip on Apple's native mail app, (where the text is often way too small compared to, for example, the Outlook mail app), the increase in text size when I move the size slider JUST ONE increment, is HUGE! I would estimate the text increases in size by at least 3 times. So the text goes from too small to too big when you move the text size slider as little as possible! 🤦‍♂️ What's going on here!? (iPhone 14 Pro Max running latest version of iOS 16)

I'm not sure what you are seeing. But if I go from 100% to 120% (the first step) then it increase about 20%. It does seem so much bigger, but it is about 20%.

@@macmost Hi Gary! I did a little research and it appears that some text responds nicely through the increments (100, 110, 120, 135, 160, ...) In the control center vertical slider. This is often email text "personal" sources that I assume was composed on a smartphone, tablet, or computer. On the other hand, other text does not respond at all until you get to the 160% setting, and then it jumps in size like a mad dog! This is often text from "commercial" sources, like businesses. When I adjust the text size in Settings using the horizontal slider, it only takes a movement of one slider position to cause this huge jump. So I assume the slider in settings increases the size of text in bigger jumps. Does this information help?

@@MrLuigi-oi7gm It is probably because those emails use HTML formatting with specific fonts, sizes, design, etc. They probably have code in them to react to different things going on in the environment, similar to how web pages react to different zoom levels. Not much you can do except adjust as needed on your end.

@@macmost You are awesome for sticking with me on this! All this sounds reasonable. For some reason, Outlook for iOS does a better job with that “problematic” content. But I’d rather use the native email client so I’m going to use your tips to make that a more pleasurable experience. 👍

It does not work, I have an app called Superlist and font on iPhone 15 pro max is super tiny and none of these method works. Any clues? Lists in Notion the same

Sounds like the developer of that particular app doesn’t support this feature.

This is a very basic iPhone settings. Yet I was shocked to see many iPhone users don’t know about this.

This was abit helpful but not fully still not working for me I miss my android phone no lie

Because each website is specifically designed by the developers of the site, not by the app developer. Use other techniques like Reader View if you need to make text more readable there.

Well guess what: it didn’t work for me either when I tried it yesterday, but today the text size was increased in KZread, including the all-important comments!
