How to make tazuna konnyaku 〜Miki’s Kitchen〜

#washoku #japanesefoods #osechi
There are dishes that are made specially for New Year’s, and the food is beautifully arranged in lacquer boxes.
Each dish and ingredient in osechi has a meaning, such as good health, a good harvest, happiness, prosperity, a long life and so on.
Tazuna means rein. In the old days konnyaku was made into the shape of rein to represent straining oneself physically and mentally to prepare for battle.

    Thank you for your message! I’m so glad that you found my channel 😊 Konnyaku is really popular food in Japan. I often use it. My favorite Konnyaku dish is gyusuji nikomi! It’s my 40th KZread. Another dish is Chikuzen-ni. It’s my 231st KZread. There are many other konnyaku dishes. I’ll upload them someday. If you have friends who are interested in Japanese foods, please recommend my channel to them😊💕

    Konnyaku has a kind of peculiar flavor. Do you mean this flavor? I usually season konnyaku thicker than any other ingredients, then it turns delicious! You should try it! Anyway, thank you for your message 😊

    How to make konnyaku block?

  • @cookingclass5

    @cookingclass5

    2 жыл бұрын

    Wow! I’ve never made konnyaku block, but they make it by grating konnyaku-imo or konnyaku yam and mix with calcium hydroxide that is a coagulant. Can you get it? Anyway, thank you for message 😊
