REALLY cool little hobby tool! I would suggest looking at dremel tool attachments for the saw blade for something more solid and effective. Adding some sort of safety cover for the blade would be really nice for when you're using the sander - easy to forget that thing is spinning away there and you wouldn't want to put your hand on it!

To much to read
You forgot about the power. I used a 12V DC adapter from an old wireless phone. I also used the adapter input from the phone charging dock. And saved some time by building it in an old cigar box. But I didnt manage to get those saw teeth that nice and neat as you did.

I built something like this with my dad back in 1993. We didn’t solder the blade in. We just glued it so that we could change the blade.we didn’t have the sanding wheel, though. That’s a nice improvement.
I need this. I want to start building various little wooden things for my son. I'll start with that. Thanks

That's a nice little toy. To make it completely portable put the power in the box. That blade is kind of dangerous without a guard on it.

Very cool little tool. The one thing you could've done to make the blade a bit tougher after bending the teeth would be a blowtorch and some water to heat treat it. Probably wouldn't make a massive difference but it'd be an easy step

very useful DIY ,I use this much .If you do this DIY its more cheep than you buy it outside
What an awesome idea! I love this, and I want to try to make one myself, now. I think, since it's going to be sharp and spinning as quickly as it does, I'll choose something a bit stronger than hot glue to hole my pieces together. Maybe UV resin "caulked" into the inner corners and cured?

Just drill a small hole in the side or bottom, put a screw in it and remove it to empty or have the saw dust drop in a can or bottle
I see there are some comments about a power supply being used. Those who are asking, alongside me, are wanting to know what type of power source you used. Something I want to know is can this be powered by a 9v battery and/or power bank.
Don’t let OSHA catch you with that toy. It’s cool though.
