This is called dragging the tip and is only best done when very first starting but not for long...you need to float the needle and be able to gauge the depth you're hitting. Sometimes you want 2mm, other times 1mm depending on the part of the body...the more fatty parts you need to hit closer to 2.5-3 but there's always the danger of blow outs...which is why feeling the consistency when lining without dragging the tip is better to learn sooner than later.

Sound is key. I’m still learning but I believe it’s the buzzing sound you are referring to
lot of dumb comments here. there are some amazing, best in the world artists pulling amazing lines riding the tube. and there are amazing artists hanging their needles. this video was then saying the needle shouldn’t be out of the cartridge when it’s not running, which is true. needle hang is personal preference. i run it out real far with 3/5’s and a medium hang with larger groupings.
Blow out
I think machine broken😂
This reel did teach more in seconds than all the hours of classes I made. Thank you!

Ridin' the tube... Bad choice on real skin.
Cool ..n

Take it as a loss and buy a new one But before you buy one, try fixing the one you got yourself. Learn it, try to see how it works. Next bet is to buy one anyways
Prison style aas shieet
That plastic looks painful 😅
I can see the blow out even though it's a fake skin 😂
Bruh😂

The Speed Of Your Hand Doesn't Match The Speed Of Your Needle
🎉
That’s not the reason. Many real tattooers use a long stroke machine for lining.
Yeah I'm thinking it's the style of artist because I usto ride the tube, but now I let the needle hang out and angle my gun and it's better,,, for me, you have to figure out your style and ways, everyone is different

Thanks learn something new at 5:39 am lol am deff going follow you much love bro
Lol plenty of tattooers hang their needles don't give bad info . Do a apprenticeship
Chill don’t ride the cart
Definitely wrong should never have in live that to much ink spread can’t even see line to draw.Need needle out far but only go in as deep as you need this way you can watch your needle, follow line and place a nice dark line.
Riding the tube? Really?
Wrong. Your voltage is too low.

Yeah I'm gonna disagree. I've been Tattooing 26 years and I always used the tip of the Needle and NEVER the tip of the Tube. Period. An apprenticeship will teach all the correct ways to Tattoo.
Teaching tattooing in the wrong way is very dangerous.. and have 40K+followers
Omg thank you!! I had trouble w this

Don't ride that tube yall. Learn how to control your speed and depth. That's what it comes down to. If your running at 7volts that's a different soled than 7.5 or 6 and so on. I'm sorry but the only way to really get good is the drill on skin. I started in prison if it make anyone feel better. My first client was a real body building ass nazi looked like Hitler on roids. Mustache and all. Don't ask me but try doing your lines while being bricked up. Idk if it's the difference in blood flow or what but when I am and I hold my breath I get the straightest lines ever lol just don't let your client know lmao.

If you don't know that you should not be tattoo ing people
For the love of god do not spread misinformation like this. Hold your machine at a 45 degree angle and naturally learn needle depth. Riding the tube is not a good way for beginners to learn
wrong. delete.
This is wrong and bad advice. I do hope it gets more likes and views from the algorithm so more people read my comment.
