    Yes, please add ingredient list in details. I am glad you talk about measurements. Many chefs don't give exact measurements and just say.... mix to your taste. -What does that mean if you have never made the items :( The mandazi/mahamri look delicious.

    Wow! Lovely cooking. I love the fact that they are hallow inside. Unlike our traditional maadazi. This is really good to know.     Zanzibar and Dar A Slm is called Mandazi. I made a lot From Young age to sell but sometimes havevtonbe perfect in thickness . Like he said. 1/4 inch I think is good. ask.the Chef And for me I prefer more sugar I cup.. For Mr each 3 cups 1/2 a cup but depends on size of cup Thanks chef . A little more knowledge for me to improve myself more 1 thing more M ahamris are not do easy to.nake Needs lots of practise to be perfect I started doing myself I cooked for many yrs. but sometimes it didn't turn. out so well . The rising time depends on climate .

    Thanks for watching, yes there's a difference. Cardamom is a spice by itself while masala is a combination of spices. Check for my chai masala in the video.

    You welcome Eugenia, yes you can reuse the oil and especially if you lots of frying, strain it through a fine sieve and it should keep well. Note, it all depends on the kind of oil you are using too. .

    This is the first Mandazi recipe that has worked out well for me thanks so so much but thy came out with to much oil, you can even feel it when you eat, I placed them on a kitchen tissue but still if you have anything to help me with than please do otherwise thanks so so much ❤️

    You can store the dough in the freezer and then defrost it overnight in the fridge ready to fry,

    Generally same , but usually mahamri have yeast and coconut milk and maandazi are made using baking powder.

    The mahamris I remember we're smaller and dense and had iiliki spice 'pardon my spelling'. Not fluffy at all.
