This tutorial is just amazing. I couldn't make heads or tails of any other tutorial and since I draft my own patterns, there were no instructions. I make my own clothes and I was so scared of pants because of these pockets. You're an absolute life saver.

Why, why, why can’t all the other gazillion welt pocket tutorials be this straightforward? All of them had me lost at the part where you turn the pocket onto the wrong side. Thank you for being so clear and concise.

Thanks for this tutorial. I can follow most of it. Perhaps for me and others as beginners it could be helpful to use contrast color fabric so that we could see better.

This is the pattern that Waffle Patterns uses for the hidden zipper welt pocket. I appreciate you demonstrating how easy it was. I couldn't find any video on putting the zipper in with it. But I did manage. I will keep this video in my favs for future reference. Thanks for sharing. It is an amazingly easy welt and so simple to make look great.
