Thank you BJM for the lesson.. so inspiring. However, I would like some insight into how one can optimally harvest the silage to avoid wastage, secondly make sure it does not get moldy overtime from the continuous exposure to air. Otherwise, thanks for the great work, we are learning. 💪🏾

Can yeast be used in the absence of molasses? If yes, what are quantities and how is it used?

Good morning BJM. Thanks for the educative videos. One vet was told me that silage should be given to goats in moderated (smaller) quantities compared to hay. his argument was that cows can have as much silage as a farmer can feed since they have the right stomachs for it while too much silage for goats will make them thin since their stomachs are not very suited for food with a lot of water but dry food like hay. I am intending to start making silage any time this year for feeding my goats. But what has your experience been with feeding goats with silage? What are the bests seasons to feed silage; dry or wet season? What quantities do you feed them? I'm just asking for guidance purposes.

Thanks for following bro he was right silage to goats 🐐 maximum should be 40% and hay 60% but for convenience hay can be 60% silage 20% then others...but fresh napier has given me better results
