Hi , loved the vlog ! I do hire cleaners occasionally for bigger tasks like Eid cleaning, I often feel guilty about it because I like to do cleaning on my own during weekends to save some money 😂. I've noticed that many of my friends use apps for calling help at reasonable rates, but the costs for cleaners, gardeners, or labor work can add up quickly here in the USA.

You know what i was thinking the same, to reserve the cleaners for Eids or big dawats. Once a week would be too costly…its $70 here per hour

As much as I enjoy your soft spoken voice, it’s strange that I even enjoyed watching the silence in the beginning… it wasn’t actually the silence but the fact that something can be this calm and slow paced in this crazy chaotic world, it somehow seemed to soothe my nerves and kind of gave me asmr tingles. But in all honesty, I started watching your vlogs due to your soft and gentle tone… I’m very loud(I even whisper loudly 🙈) and I aspire to speak as softly as you do some day 🥹

As for the house help, I do get what you mean. I have sometimes had someone over for £10/hr and even that was painful. But I really wouldn’t mind the extra help. Looking after a baby/toddler is much more exhausting than all the household chores. On more trying days I’ve often dreamt of having a nanny but I feel guilty that I will be missing out on precious moments with the children. So as stroppy as I may get I continue to subject my poor kids to my presence(read tyranny) 🙈😆 I’m homeschooling so it gets hectic. It’ll get easier when Zari joins nursery.

Ah, I will be homeschooling as well! I homeschooled my older two until grade 8. Alhamdulillah both in Uni now ❤️

Please do share your homeschooling journey, tips, errors to avoid etc. If you’re planning to homeschool Zari then I’ll advise you to avail as much house help, nanny services as possible, esp if you can afford it. Homes literally become nonfunctional when the mothers are not well. So my advice would be to take care of yourself and avail whatever help you can get. Allah bless your children and make them the coolness for your eyes.
