Had issues finding the roll option but found it! You have to click on the text layer clip in the timeline and in the Essential Graphics panel, the text layer (with the big T to the left) has to be DESELECTED. If it's selected, it'll only give you the text edit options, not the ROLL option. Thanks for the video to get me started! Making this comment for others with the same issue.

Thanks, man. Well you can do really good end credits in Premiere Pro to be honest. Apart that, I don't know where you can get affordable one. Probably Fivver?

the right side of you frame, where the essential graphic is, IT CHANGED from before you wrote out credit to after. please explain how you got that change,

Do you know if it's possible to add a customized background? like changing the color or add elements to the sides?

You can add a customised background on the video track below and I think it's possible to add elements as other layers on the timeline but make sure that the credits(text layers) are above all of them on the timeline.

can someone help me. If I make rolling credits. I copy from a word file and paste it into premiere pro. Then when I export the video. Then the credits are just frozen they don't run. I've tried everything what am I doing wrong. Choosing different video formats doesn't help either.

Thanks Ibrahim. With this technique you can't make it to go from right to left. You have to create the text and create key frames on the position properties.

Hi. Why when I try typing in the window if I type past a certain amount of letters sideways it doesn’t show up? Even if I change the scale it doesn’t show up. Not for rolling credits but just for a Norman title. Is there a limit?

Hey Ray. Why not try to scale it down and see how it will look like.

When you were typing the credits they were vertically listed under their roles. Then you switched them to horizontally beside each role. How?

So basically you create two text elements on the same layer and then you place them against each other and you will get that look as well.

Hi Boonsta. You will find the roll option when you scroll down to the appearance menu and from there or further down will be the scroll option 🙂

Hmmm... Unfortunately you create credits that look different than your thumbnail depicts.

Hey Bloodborne. There must be in the essential graphics panel when you select the text go to edit and scroll down and you will si this option. It has a little box beside it.

Hi Nicole. Well I didn't change anything, just anytime you want to make changes to your text make sure you select the text layer and then go to essential graphics and click on edit. And definitely at the bottom you will have the roll text option.

What's the deal?? While I appreciate the video, you are about the 3rd person to show the correct format of credits in your thumbnail, but then don't show the technique in your video.
