    Lmao what kind of ocean are you using to steam meat…. Steam your meat with the particles of water that was left after washing of the meat, after steaming it, you can add water later… this way the ingredients will really penetrate into the meat and your meat will have so much taste… the sweetness of your soup starts from the steaming of your protein

    But the "bitterness" you are getting rid off is the REAL HEALTH BENEFIT of the bitter leaf which i believe is d reason you adding it

    But you destroyed the nutritional value of the bitter leaf. We in Biafraland squeeze out half of the bitterness with water without cooking it. Half of the bitterness remains in order to tone down the sweetness of the ogbono. By the way., the healing power of the bitter leaf is in its bitterness.
