    This can be done with only 1, much smaller 2-staged rocket! Leave the 2nd stage in Mars orbit and use the smallest rocket engine on the rover to get back to Mars orbit and dock with the mother ship. Basically like the Moon missions, but then take the rover/lander home as well.

    Well, the rover is too big and docking port is on place where the Probe is, which is not a problem unlit you come to dock it with a rocket flaming it with engine. That will not be a good idea after Stef adds more realism into the game.

    Realism? Only heat on reentry and aerodynamic controlling is planned next So engines wont destroy the capsule/probe Smoke,New engines, and other more might be added. You want SFS to be a KSP ripoff? Come on man

    The most difficult thing I did, besides landing on Moon, Venus and Mars, was docking 2 probes in orbit. After seeing this, everything I do is like just throwing rocks at birds on a tree.

    Actually docking in orbit is one of the hardest things to do, you should be proud of yourself For example I built a base on the moon, a satellite around Mars, but i always tried but failed to duck

    Its much easyer to send the rover into orbit with own power and then dock it in space. Also you dont have to fry your own rover during ascent. Also you can just propell the rover body back to orbit.

    This would only work on planets with atmospheres because the parachute doesn't work without air. So you can't send it to the moon.

    Just have them snug onto your rocket. Use the converter (box to cone) to make it snug.

    PyroX I know I did but it was fairly difficult, every time I opened the app my rover reset, it would of been nice to have step by step instructions to have written down on a paper, tho I needed the expansion... oh well.....
