Thanks! This helped a lot. Some of my models such as beam guns really needed proper and fixed code instead of messy and complicated gibberish. Now everything is much easier to make. Raycasting has enabled me to script much better things, and tutorials like these help a LOT.

Hello, I would like to know how to make the ray continue until it hits a part. :) Edit: I followed everything you did, but the part doesn't appear for me, it just says this: "LaserStart.Script:3: attempt to index nil with 'Origin'".

Make sure that you are sending the ray that you created as a paramter

Can you make a video how to make a part that if you touch it, It will make another part visible? Please...

one of the most simple and easiest things ever just learn some basic scripting and you should be able to do it

The deprecated CFrame.new() has been replaced by CFrame.lookAt() which takes the same parameters and does the same thing. Thanks mate! Forgot how to do this.

Yes Ray.new() is deprecated, but it can stil be used with the new workspace:RayCast()

@@zenin7219 deprecated classes don't get completely removed most time to allow support for older and unupdated games but roblox doesn't encourage them to use it anymore
