Doesn’t entirely work, tried to make it myself and the sand breaks from the water, good short term trap to just bait your friends to get in but doesn’t last for more than a few seconds

It doesn’t despawn. What happens is that it eventually fills in the entire block where the cobweb is and breaks because blocks aren’t supposed to be inside other blocks.

​@@woodystarnes9281 It does actually despawn. Since the sand is in the bubble column, it isn't able to become a solid block inside the cobweb. It just despawns because falling sand blocks despawn after 30 seconds.

@Elijah McNeill is on bedrock, yes I tried it at I was so happy to find this cool trick but turns out its a FRAUD do not try also, I watch a Minecraft KZreadr (LoverFella) who likes to test out things like this on java and bedrock. it didn't work for him either

If you really wanted to trap them you put magma blocks at the bottom probably. This is a cool idea and concept

The funny thing is that this Is quite alike real quicksand because it is caused by gas bubbles from the bottom

I deadass forgot this existed

I accidentally made jumping sand by trying to make quick sand and forgetting the cobweb you can try this although I was playing the normal Edition no other Editions it just says Minecraft on the screen
