Good luck to all in the giveaway! Here are some of the products used in this video: Techflex sleeving: amzn.to/4bqt1Nk Shrink tubing: amzn.to/3JMYP3f
FYI, in case anyone doesn't know this: if you ask for automotive hose clamps in stainless (i.e., from your local auto parts store), most likely the screw WON'T be stainless. Marine hose clamps, however, are fully stainless. Liked and subscribed, BTW. 👍

Love it. Good stuff!! You’d think I’d know that having boats much of my adult life… but I think Ive forgotten more info than I know lol
Instead of using the worm clamps, a Gates PowerGrip clamp could shrink to secure the sleeve in place as well as clamp the hose in place

Me and my buddy did the same thing on his small block Chevy in his S-10. We were able to find a lower hose but not an upper. We both hate those universal flex hoses but that's all we could find so put the loom on it and it looked great. Couldn't even tell it was a flex hose. The only thing we did different was to use T-clamp hose clamp and no shrink. The solid and wide body of the clamp captured and hid the end of the wire loom. Plus we cut ours with a hot knife so it "seals" the end of the looming and it doesn't unravel. Still looked great a year later when we ripped the engine out last weekend to install a 740 horse LS 427. Love the show, been sub'd for a while now.

I was watching this video on my other YT account. I liked the idea so much I had to come here with my build channel and say something good! I was going to use those sleeves on my new wire harness but never had the thought cross my mind to use them on coolant hoses, that's fantastic man, I'll spread the wisdom 😎

That ended up looking pretty slick so I subscribed. I had one of those cheap metal mesh tube cover kits for my Police Caprice car. It came with factory silicone extreme long life radiator hoses from the factory that were cool to me but they were green. Everyone else thought they were garden hoses so I eventually had to cover them up.

As a somewhat retired, I call myself retreaded, tech and shop and parts store owner, I'm always looking at the OEM parts to put a custom application together and have raced with them to much success. I had thought about your sleeve addition to improve the looks. Great job. I've still have many OE radiator hoses and if some one has the patients they can usually find a hose for their application, Also Gates has adapter to make a too large hose fit a smaller outlet, they work well. thanks for you video
