Nice info. In No 1 rooting tip,you can add aloe vera gel to honey water,mix well n then dip cuttings in it b4 applying turmeric or cinnamon powder.

salix Alba has one of the most concentrated levels of IBA hormones (root hormone). it can be dissolved by extraction with ethanol from the crushed bark as well as the wood itself. then you should dilute the solution with water and, if necessary, add a gelling agent. You can also put the bark and wood in water for 24 hours in a shady place and leave the cuttings directly in the water for 1-2 hours and then leave them in clear water. the more willow wood the better. but you should note the average concentration of the wood per gram and convert it to the amount of solution in liters ml. it is best to research the plant specific concentration amount your plant needs and then, if necessary, feed or coat the cuttings with the correct amount/concentration, also the concentrate could be made into a powder by evaporation at room temperature. but this process can cause losses because IBA hormones are sensitive to heat and light

I think it's called coir. Haven't seen it in the UK. I asked for it once at a gardening centre, the guy said he used to have it but no one was buying it. I bought some grass seed mixed with it for my garden once, it worked like magic.

50% sand, 50% cocopeat (coir) , then cover cutting with a plastic bag to stop it drying out. Works for me.
