If you don't have the option to upgrade the graphic to a caption described at 2:07, make sure you are on the latest version of premiere pro (23.1 or newer). This option just came out, and if you are on an older version, you have to manually copy the text from the captions track onto a text layer.

But then when I cut a part of the video or delete some subtitles, the screen goes black on preview, and on export too. The image and subtitles are not visible, but the audio is heard normally. The update for automatic captions came out in Premiere 2021, so you should have it. If you go to workspaces, is there an option for captions and graphics?

All you, youtubers have the same video which is fine but at the same time I want to put text like how I did using Legacy Titles sigh.
