Glad that it was helpful, this egg maker is very helpful to make quick boiled eggs and also omlet for the kids, very fluffy like a pank cake.

i have 1 of these if you use large eggs i fill the plastic cup near to the top or the eggs are not cooked enough and the timer will go out , and you have to wait for it to cool down before you can start cooking again , but its a great little device i have done scrambled eggs in the dish that came with it also and boiled eggs on the rack come out great 10/10

Wow. That sound is so alarming. I bought one today and it plays a song when it's done.

Love it. I bought a black one and it is perfect for a couple or single person... They do make a larger one ( Dash Deluxe )makes 12 hard boiled eggs and 7 poached and larger omelet. for larger families. Thank you for the great video.

The egg and yolk are fine, when the buzzer goes off the first time, that's condensation. Just slide the egg onto a paper towel before putting it on the toast.

My daughter wrote that, but I like poached eggs too!

Its easier to make it on tava though, but it's a useful product when someone has less or no access to Gas.

If your egg was fully cooked then yeah. It's just water with egg protein (called albumin) in it, maybe mixed with whatever oil you used.

I need one of those trays. My Nostalgia egg cooker's tray is too big for poached eggs

Mine doesn't have an alarm , mine plays a little tune when its done.

Sorry, I didn't understand the question completely... there is a small measuring cup that comes with the egg maker. It has markings... but you can still use some guesswork. I normally don't use the measuring cup anymore as I lost it, but just go with an amount that fills the bottom chamber. You can always stop it in between the cooking time if the water is more.

that's a terrifying amount of oil lol. I would put it on a paper towel and just wipe the pockets

I think it might be 2 to 3mins more.... but if you don't want it over done, the first cook time is enough...

The timer will automatically chime, and it is loud. I have not timed it. The measurement cup provided shows the quantity needed, and the timer will chime after that water has evaporated out.

too much olive oil as well. that'll make the eggs runny

There is a measurement cup that comes with it. Now a days we put enough upto the bottom of the egg holder..

I have one too at home, but it's not making a buzzer sound at the end, it's a cute melody. Same Dash Egg Maker.

Under the glass there is a needle like thing which u need to prick the raw egg so dnt use spoon as shell can also land in your plate

The manual said not to lock it, may be as a safety precaution so that steam pressure doesn't build up and it explodes. It always works without locking the dome, steam doesn't escape from the sides, steam vents only from the top vent. It works well while boiling eggs. Quick boiled eggs in few minutes with less water, compared to boiling in pan.

It doesn't need to be cooked more. ALL poached eggs have some white residue.

Not the way I like them. We have one of these machines and are still "playing with it" to get our poached eggs to a consistency that we like.

Unfortunately there is no option that we could find to set the Alarm... the time is automatically decided mostly by the amount of water we pour... not sure... let us know if you know how to set it...
