place onions in boiling water first and leave for several minutes, makes them easier to peel
I got this a few weeks back. Doing them tonight. Did they come out well?

HI keith roof guttering are local stores had no guttering in over covid so doing in side was next priority
Be aware that organic ACV very often contain vinegar worms/nematodes

its quicker to top and tail them, then pour boiling water on then and leave for 15 mins, the skins just roll off without effort.

Use small yellow onions. Actually, you don't have to salt them either, except for a bit of salt for flavor.
I don't get it. You worry about sterilizing the jar, then you fill it full of vinegar. Nothing will grow in there, man.
