If you fold it not as far as the line (at 1 min point in your video), you can get the Kings Crown Effect at the end, by wearing it sideways! At 1 min point, Measure 2 " from both sides of your center line to leave a 4" gap. Then proceed as before to finish it. Open it up and turn it sideways on your head, look in the mirror , quite nice ! !

I used two sheets of newspaper to make a more durable hat. Our local newspaper sheets were squarer than Jenny's so I had to trim off a couple of inches/centimeters across the top & bottom to make them more of a rectangle. Also, the extra folds she made at the side really did help make the hat "fit". I'm decorating my Wacky-Tacky Hat (thanks for the name Jack, comment below somewhere) and know that wearing it will remind students & teachers at school about our Box Tops For Education fundraising program. You gotta do what you gotta do.

This is the instructions for making a skylab hat to protect you from falling debris from space.

This isn't good for a normal sized head. Even if you don't shorten it. What you need to do is use a 2 paged newspaper page. It's much bigger and doesn't fall off even if you are not a toddler.
