Thanks for the tutorial......this means that on the shorts pattern,to make waist bigger u only add one inch?on both sides n no other additional inches anywhere?

Beautiful tutorial. Please ma when drafting the short pattern, when taking the vertical measurements, did you subtract 2.5 inch from the waist band when marking your hip line and crotch line. I asked because sometimes when you don't subtract the inches from the waistband, the short from the waist doesn't allign well on your hip line. Because you attach the 2.5 inch from the waistband, definitely the hip line will shift down a little vertically downward so is it advisable to subtract the inches from the waistband when marking out your vertical measurements?

Can I use cotton fabric

@@amoasiwa.n6598 Sure 😊, fabric suggestions: medium-woven fabrics e.g cotton lawn, cotton, linen, denim, poly-cotton, duchess satin. Any fabric that is a bit stiffer (medium range not light-weighted) will be fine 😍
