You lost me after; "you need 12 pieces of paper", hehe. Love it.
This is an EXCELLENT video! The larger model enables us to see exactly what your hands are doing and your verbal instructions are clear and precise. Moving the camera back and forth is well done, too. The lighting is fine without being glaring (a problem I've noted in videos by other people) and you let us see exactly what you're doing at each step. Kudos!
Yup, sure, I can upload a video for next week.
This is such a beautiful piece of art! It was very fun to make as well. Thank you!
Desde Venezuela... ¡¡¡me encantó!!!
Thank you, Tadashi! It's great! Such a lovely box, easy and ingenious.
That rose really is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us
Tadashi, great thanks for this lovely box and for your wonderful tutorials!
I love this! i tried making it and found that the flower was really hard to stay in shape after twisting the below parts and curving the petals. Should I use wet folding technique or something to improve it?
What a beautiful modular origami flower box! Thank you!
Great Tutorial Tadashi! You explained it very well!
The way you explained it was perfect I actually understood the instructions :) and the boxes are beautiful

I succeeded at the first time. You're such a good instructor. I'm so happy with it now. Thank you ^^
Great job. My first one came out beautiful. Thanks for the great tutorial.
thanks for the video! i like that you're thorough and your instructions are easy to follow, you walk us through everything. it's a lovely box ^.^
Hi Tadashi Mori. I managed to make this little box after many try and still not quite near perfection. There is quite a space at the bottom of the box. Thank quite for posting.
Amazing and easy to follow! Thank you this is a beautiful piece of origami :D
que trabalho lindo e delicado!!! muito bom!!!
Perfect... Timing... I needed something exactly like this, exactly now. Thanks.
I dont know if you read comments from old videos but ever since i watched this video 11 years ago, ive used it 4 times, once for a gift for my mother and the other 3 times for girls ive dated (i know i have no creativity when it comes to gifts but not one person complained lmao) . So this video is part of my life very intimately lmao. Thank you for ever deciding to make origami videos. You are the reason 4 people smiled at some point, as well as me.
Lindo trabalho!
The flower creation part looks tricky, but i'd give this art project a try. I wonder when you can purchase origami paper that's color monotoned on either sides.
Beautiful ! And your explanation is so clear, thank you :)
Absolutely gorgeous can't wait to try it!!
Hey Tadashi! The box is great! Always goes down well I've decorated it with a homemade gemstone pendants for the neck and the box placed in an engraved wine glass, the rose I have in red angesprayt which was a nice transition from the green box. Great work from you, thanks for the inspiration!

youre the best youtuber/designer!!!
De Chile te felicito me encantan las manualidades
if doing this with single sided paper id make the two box units with colour on the opposite side to that shown in the video; would give a white (or reverse colour) box with coloured/patterned inner flower
Hi dude, thank you very much for the video, I've successfully made 2 roses with little boxes underneath using the transit schedule and supermarket receipt so far. Well ready to make a red one and give it to a lady when V's day comes.

Thanks a lot ! :-) You explained it very good and easy ! With your explanation ,I made it really easy ! So ,I will wait your new video-lessons of origami ! :-) Sincerely, Helen
Great skill! Thank you!
It's easy and looks very pretty. - ^-^
The ANNOYANCE when people don't put the measurements, But I do like it that you explain it better than the other person who made same video.
I think that you can make it in any size as long as its length and Width are equal (I made mine with 15x15)
Awesome! Did it with 10x10 paper. Thanks!
the box is really the gift!!! ♥
Thanks! Very nice origami!
Any paper would work for this origami, it's not really complex. Just add some water to make the petals and it'll get nice =)
the tutorials are really very good and easy to follow.but here in india we usually cant find proper origami paper.could you guide me what other papers can be used.thanks.
gracias por compartir!
your the best in this!!!!!!!
Ok. Now we know the size. But what about the type of paper? I finished the first part but I highly doubt that it will hold together and serve as the box it is intended to be.
Wait, what happened to the sound after 15:00? The video is self-explanatory without sound but I found the going a little tricky, especially when attaching the rose to the lid. What kind of paper did you use, by the way? I tried ordinary copy paper and then origami paper that I got from an origami calendar and the rose still wouldn't hold its shape.
I tried it, really hard but it is amazing!
