Who wouldn’t want to create some new jack swing at one point? Enjoyed your tutorial man!
You're basic dissecting Teddy Riley's genre and "Dangerous" MJ album lol I love this style of music ❤️
I like the MJ /Teddy Riley vibes bro .
That is not nobody s new jack swing
Yeah those drum sounds are insane. I always feel like the best snares sound like they sampled a dozen car doors slamming together and then sped the whole thing up.
I need to learn new jack swing bass lines !!!! like ll cool j's strictly business
It reminds me of the beat for "Jam" by Michael Jackson, which I do believe MJ was working in a New Jack Swing sound to his songs at the time (and it was produced by Teddy Riley)
Instead of 16th note triplet quantizing, I use the swing feature set at 63% or 66%. But if your sequencer or DAW doesn't offer percentage swing, then 16th note triplets work too.
OMG, Where's the sound download????
This style needs to come back
Never heard the term new jack swing from my British bubble, I was searching “how to Bobby Brown”. Great video 👍
pro setup, pro sound, easy explanations. Great content!
That has to be one of the sickest kick samples I've ever heard in my life.
I can't get enough of New Jack Swing! It reminds me of being back home in Queens, NY!
Yes other than early '80s funk new jack swing is and will always be my favorite genre (sub-genre) of music ever! I value this music to the max! I still wear a box fade and and acid wash jeans with my black leather jacket and black leather dress boots with my gold jewelry! Please make more new jack music! Long live New Jack! They really need to bring this type of music back! Should have never left anyway!
Reminds me of MJ’s Dangerous and Jam snare.. and close to the Bobby brown don’t be cruel album kicks :)
I don't know all the music jargon and language, but that was really good work. Well done.
Watching this made me smile Soo much, even though i was born well after this era i still appreciate it alot. it just makes you want to dance instantly. Great tutorial sir!!!
Hahah oh man I love this! Each layer you add on just makes me smile more.
