After watching videos I learned my job is to feed my dog and not be her personal chef. I have spent so much money trying to please my dog. She learned if she would not eat the dog food I presented she would get something new or home cooked. After realizing her level of manipulation she now eats kibble. She would always eat treats and not her dog food so I knew she was not sick. She had me trained so well! I love her so much.

Coco nut has lot of fat , not good

So I just put my pup back on dry food. I put it in water AND broth and he drinks its and leaves the kibble in bowl. Ive also caught him trying to cover his food with a blanket?! HELP

My dog literally fasted for whole day cause I chopped his chicken. He usually has it cut instead of chopped :") Driving me nuts with worries!

All my senior dog wants is human food. I've tried all different types of kibble including freeze dried food and he just won't eat it. Any suggestions?

I’ve tried all these tricks but still no luck. My pup used to eat her regular kibble without any issue but suddenly when she turned six months old she just became pickier and pickier. I didn’t change anything about her food until she started turning her nose up at her meals then I started using these tricks to coax her into eating. I’ve even resorted to mixing cheaper quality dry food in with her regular higher quality food because she seemed to like the taste better. This only worked for a short time and then it was as if she caught on to my game and decided not to eat that. I then resort adding wet food that had gravy to a small amount of dry food. This works a bit better but it’s a crap shoot with her. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. If it works she takes a long time to finish her food grazing at it all day. If she doesn’t like it it will sit the her bowl all day and it worries me. I’ll have to speak with her vet about this.

Mine too, can't get her to eat anything but Meat :( Wish she would eat kibble. Sometimes she'll eat the freeze dried Raw from Open Farms and noticed other Brands now coming out with Freeze Dried Raw but of course all so expensive like the actual meat. a Fortune and she's not even 5 months.

I literally just give my dog dry food and wait for him to eat it, eventually at sone point he is going to eat it and get used to it, they won’t starve to death lol

@@BeardedWolfKing If you will sprinkle a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese on it and just mix it with your hand, he will eat it. I know it's probably not healthy but it's literally just a pinch and it won't hurt them to do it a couple times.

I tried olive oil & it work some time. If i put any other toppers, she licks it off. I won't give up. I will try coconut oil..

I waited for my 7 weeks old puppy 20 hours to eat his dry food, she should've been dead at that time but yet doesn't want to eat it, I did everything, mixed it with milk, chicken, pork, sardine, didn't work.. and still waited another 24 hours to eat them l, didn't work. I checked the food I am using, it says for puppies at the same exact age he is, I need help please.

Try a small bag of high quality food brand like Acana. Maybe add beef or chicken broth to dry food if your dog rejects it. I suggest a small bag so you don't go broke finding brand and food flavor your pup will enjoy. I've added a little shredded cheese mixed in. Or sprinkle of parmesan cheese mixed in. I also spray our dog's food with a dash of coconut oil or olive oil for a shiny coat. I had a cat that refused to eat food with any rabbit in it. Good luck.

Put peanut butter or treats. Putting in the microwave could also help. It has helped with other dogs.

THANK YOU! My dog would not eat his new Kibble food ! All I did was add bottled spring water to his bowl and he started chowing it down! I switched from Purina pro plan puppy to Purina Instinct mix beef and salmon bites. I made the switch because I thought he would enjoy the chuck bites... He enjoyed them a little too much, he would literally only eat the chunk bites lol. He eats all of now, thanks to this water trick

what did you do for her to eat it ?

My dogs are old and have bad teeth. I keep Bil Jac on the side in case they don’t want to eat their soft food. They make it for small and large dogs that is easy to chew. You can take you finger and break it in half.

Pedigree is not that good to be honest. Try to get ur pup food that has meat as the first ingredient; no corn, wheat, or soy

My dog just keep holding the food in her mouth and the other dog is just sad because they want to go outside but needs to wait with the picky one

I have a 6th option for you, take the bowl and pretend to eat the food and the dog should come running.

Kibble does not clean the tartar present on the teeth. The truth is that as kibble has a lot of unnecessary starches and carbs it provides readily available nutrition for the tartar present on the teeth just try adding some whole foods like meat, organ meat, fish, cooked vegetables, fruits, herbs or eggs. Dogs 100% know that the kibble that you are feeding is not good for them but they still eat it because they have no option other than eating burnt brown balls filled with low quality ingredients and fillers

@@ruthsalinas9479 You should not add the following ↓ 1. Onions 2. Grapes 3. SOME seeds and nuts 4. Leek 5. Any spices or salt 6. Chocolate 8. Hi sodium or iodine canned or prepacked food 9. Most Oils Here's a simple homemade beef broth for dogs ↓ 1. Beef bones - 1 LBS 2. Apple cider vinegar - 2 TBSP 3. Turmeric - ⅛ TSP 4. Water - twice the amount of bones. And ya if you're mixing broth with kibble you can also add extra meal additions to make healthy as it is highly processed Meat, organ meat, eggs, fish, pumpkin, berries or fermented veggies. Always make sure that you introduce these whole foods one by another slowly and gradually.

You do have to be a bit careful with letting them starve. My old gsd had kidney failure at the end of her life, and I didn't know that a symptom of that is anorexia. I tried all sorts of things to get her to eat. In the end she wouldn't even eat roast chicken.

My 15½ year fox terrier dog had kidney failure as well and had to be put down. The vet said it was due to a build up of phosphorus that caused them to malfunction. He was never a great eater, but survived on one small plate of cut up dog roll per day, he never drank much water during his life, but towards the end he drunk 3 or 4 cups a day.

Help I'm here looking for options bc my dog will not eat her dog food (dry or wet) I buy her the most expensive one, the cheap one, the regular one and she will still not eat. We spend about $200 on different types of food for her but she still won't eat it. She only likes chicken fingers if we cut them in tiny pieces and feed her in the mouth or cooked steak meat if we feed the tiny pieces in her mouth😤 idk what to do I'm desperate bc she cries at night that she is hungry but won't eat her dog food 😭

Works on my small size 8 months old dog after doing that for 2 days straight. Just make sure she have plenty of water, since she’ll be starving. Once she started eating, my dog never become picky, EVER again!

There’s no way my dog will eat kibble. She spits every piece out and will go hungry.

Educate yourself about raw and feed raw. Simply one of the best things you can do for your four legged best friend. RMB: raw meaty bones.

@@marthasunny4937 my 45 kg Ridge acknowledges has been eating chicken since he was 6 months old, he is now 7 , have not had any problems, just have to be careful with the feet as it is very fatty. He has a varied diet meaty bones, home made food and the like but will not eat dry since our 15 tear old cattle dog died. Go figure

Put the dry out in morning, very very rarely does our princess want to start eating, this bowl can sit there virtually untouched till mid afternoon, so this morning I took a peice of cooked chicken skin about 2 square inches and quickly massaged the skin into the dry kibbles then disposed of the skin into bin . Put the bowl down to floor and within a few minutes 95 percent of kibbles were in doggies tum tum . I happy, dog happy . Just sayin Don't bother to reply with , YEH but what if I haven't got a scrap of cooked chicken skin.

Dogs shouldn’t eat dry food. It’s processed garbage. You should home cook all their food. Healthier and they love it.

My dog is so fussy. Will not eat dry food. So now she will because it is now a matter of who's going to starve to death first. I do not run a smorgasbord for dog. The food she is given is the highest quality. She will eat it eventually. If not today, tomorrow or the next day.

My dog's good for nothing vet is too lazy to explain all these things. After paying up, she wants you to go.

If you won't eat highly processed burnt balls of meat by products and low quality meat meals as well as low quality carbs, If you can't read some type of ingredient in pet food like propylene glycol ND Ethoxiquin why put it in your pets mouth???
