I started 2 months ago, almost exclusively phone photos. It's fun, easy, creative and it makes me a better photographer! So far I have 12 downloads, few of them are duplicates, and I made $4,63. Thanks for all the info!

i'd like a video about the difference in the market between cell phone photos and dslr photos. I'm sure there's a difference in what topics and types of photos that sell. Also, in formatting, aren't all cell phone photos 72ppi or can some get up to 300ppi? I thought the micro stock site had separate platforms for selling cell phones photos, no?

I don't fart around with microstock apps, too complicated for me. For cellphone pictures I email them to myself and edit them on my PC on a bigger screen. I have to if I want to remove the noise from an image. My Samsung Galaxy Note 5 just doesn't cut it when shadows come into play, even in a brightly lit supermarket my images will have noise.

Hey Photerloo! Love this video, love your channel! We also started youtube recently to share our monthly income from stock sites, however Shutterstock's confidentiality terms of service have just been brought to our attention.... We want to keep sharing this info - we feel it's valuable and a lot of people want to know about it - curious if you found a solution. Here's the exact quote from Shutterstock: "By submitting any Content to Shutterstock, you acknowledge that you will acquire certain confidential and proprietary information, including but not limited to royalty rates, royalty payments and earnings data (collectively, "Confidential Information"). You agree to keep Confidential Information confidential and to not disclose Confidential Information to any third party other than representatives, agents, attorneys, accountants, auditors and advisors with a bona fide need to know, who shall first agree to keep the terms confidential." Thanks for any insight!

That is so true, in 2020 more stock photo sales will come from mobile phone photos than in 2019. That will happen with or without me or you uploading my cell phone photos to stock. It is your choice if you take some of the revenue for yourself or leave it for others.
