So, correct me if I am wrong...according to Jacky, niche sites (not sure the definition being used in the discussion) are dead, traffic sites are dead, affiliate sites are not, but with G updates they almost are (unless you are Forbes and Cia.). So, you good ol' dog blog project for 2024 must be revised, rechecked and probably canceled. Ok, SaaS app for best vitamin for dogs here we go! Now, seriously, is that the conclusion we can get from Jacky? Any opinion or feedback Jaume? Yeah I think he was talking about just affiliate as a business model is gonna continue to work but that affiliate/traffic sites are dead since you're competing with Forbes etc. I'm not sure how much I agree with him on this, i think there are always profitable niches will be harder moving forward since informational content will continue to get eaten up by Google and SGE coming. I wouldn't shy away from a good ol'dog project for 2024 - i would just really really do some research before starting to see if it makes sense with who's competing and with the changes that are coming. I still think niche sites (as long as their done well) have potential inside specific niches - these will be harder to find. Might also make sense to target other languages - Como el español !! @@JaumeRos Thanks Jaume for the explanation. However, I am still confused by the word "niche sites". From my understanding, they are affiliate sites with mainly informational content to create topical authority and sell mainly through display ads, correct? I don't quite get the difference with affiliate websites. If so, from the interview, I understand Jacky thinks that they don't have a good future. I also find his opinion a bit drastic. I see big differences in SEO know-how across countries and languages. I am not sure those sites will be strongly hit in countries where the SEO landscape is kind of backward. As a European, I would be interested if you could touch on this topic too. Basically are there still untapped opportunities in SEO in other languages that can be leveraged, with a specific focus on Europe, before SGE and Google Gemini will take this part of the market?

The Title “ Make money with SEO” should be changed to “ make money online” this video has nothing to do with SEO

Great vid as usual Jaume but I did not get the business model of Jacky. For e.g., @12:11 he pitched his idea to a popular Restaurant with DR 50 in Vancouver - Kitchenware affiliate site, Recipe site. So, is he talking about building the websites for the restaurant or something else?

Yeah so basically he had a contact that had a well known restaurant in vancouver. That restaurant because of its fame (I guess) has naturally gotten a bunch of links and now has some solid authority. The restaurant wasn't doing much with that authority, just ranking for their own brand and maybe a few "restaurant in vancouver keywords". But that restaurant also has some serious potential to rank for other kitchenware items, so Jacky pitched them on the idea with some type of comission based structure and because of the authority that restaurant now ranks and does quite well for affiliate terms - I think its brilliant. Does that make sense?
