    Actually, miso paste should never be boiled. Never ever. Once it reaches the point of boiling, it loses its quality and all those vitamins. So add it AFTER you have boiled the entire soup and just mix it in while the soup is still hot (but not boiling).

    For at home it's a very good and short version recipe. But for the real full of taste broth which is the most important part you won't come around cooking it fully selfmade with 3-6 hours of cooking time minimum

  • @ErenaaLamb

    @ErenaaLamb

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@HidetoraToujou Miso does it too. Search for any real Miso recipe with chicken base and you will see that it needs to be cooked for 3 hours at least just like any other base, otherwise the ingredients won't be able to transfer the taste to the broth. You always need to do that when you do your broth, no matter which one, without instant mixes. The tare, which is here miso, doesn't play any role to that.

    My chicken broth from Trader Joe's is less sodium. You have to adjust based on your chicken stock. If yours are salty, reduce the amount of chicken stock and add water to balance. Something I can't predict as we all use different ingredient/stock. :) It's important to taste and then season. xoxo

    @Barlie Checkwith It's also making the pork, boiling the eggs enough to be firm on the outside but still a bit runny on the inside, and don't underestimate the skills required to cut the ingredients so beautifully, or the need of a proper, good knife XD

    Miso Soup is made differently and the broth is made with Dashi and miso (I suggest making good Dashi for good miso). Agree, with the toppings like this you need another day to prepare but this ramen broth is easy to make as we don’t spend days to make it like ramen shop. 😊

    Ingredients will be always the hardest thing in Japanese cooking and I hope in 10-20 years this won’t be so much problem... 😊 a lot better with online shop these days compared to last 10-20 years 🤗 Let’s stay hopeful ❤️❤️❤️

    Where do you get this ramen bowl? I see it in ramen restaurants too. So pretty!

    I brought mine back from Japan. You can buy ramen bowls from MTC Kitchen online (if you buy, use JOC10 to get 10% off). :)
