Beautiful job. There are plenty of restoration channels on KZread but yours stands out above the rest. I think that it's because not only are your results stunning, but you don't use any fancy equipment like sandblasters and polishing machines. You do everything by hand, which is the sign of a true craftsman.

Lol restoration and polishing an item into mirror are 2 very different things. He's not a restoration channel. Like if you're going to restore a vintage furnace you're not going to polish it into mirror polish, you restore it by making it look and work like brand new.

Do you mean rust? Mirror finish actually rust less, since there is less pockets that rust will sit in, you can just regularly clean it.
