There is an artist painter I follow and she says, "Every piece of art has an 'ugly stage' and we tend to get discouraged and want to quit when it is at that stage. Just like most of us went through an ugly stage. Just keep painting and you will get past that stage." Same for dollhouses, which are, after all, pieces of art. Looks great, Gretchen.

I love how the stairs turned out. The dark brown colour matches the rest of the dollhouse wood, and it looks old! I liked how you made the railing for the stairs. It looked great! When the rooming house dollhouse is finished, I'd love to see how it looks. Maybe give us a tour? ~Janet in Canada

Yes I absolutely will give a full tour when it's done! I try to do updates to keep everyone up on where we are in the process! I will begin adding some accessories to the completed rooms to bring them to life! Stay tuned!

Hi Paula! Bed and Breakfast is a little fancier than a Rooming House, although some of the concepts are similar. Bed and Breakfast puts you more in mind of vacation/ retreat/resort idea. Rooming Houses were used generally by lower income people in need of housing, also as a hotel option for people of Color. The house is privately owned. Owner would rent bedrooms for either short term or permanently. Roomers paid for room, which may include meals and laundry services. Generally, residents were Not related. When i bought this house it was so big, i felt that many DOLLS could have a Lovely place to live instead of it being mansion for only a few. Thank you for asking Paula and for watching!!!
