I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

If the peltier element only cooled the inside of the AC it would work great. But the other side of yhe peltier element is becoming hot, and is cooled with a fan, blowing the hot air into the same room... If we could cool the peltier element with outside air(or use another room that's allowed to get hot, maybe a hothouse for inside gardening ) , it would really work.

It’s a peltier heat transfer module, the heat is literally coming back out the other side. Therefore, it won’t actually cool your room.

It needs an outdoor unit, with a compressor. I think this is just some BS air cooler that wastes your money instead of buying a real fan. Or, just buy a fricking used air conditioner for cheap with more features. Anyway it's worth a 2002 Panasonic that actually cools your room more than this bullshit

Obviously heat needs to be transferred , so any how it will transfer back out, until we transfer it outdoor through outdoor unit

Air conditioners are like $20 on Craigslist or other used sites.... I doubt this does anything to a room other than add heat! There may be some dehumidification, but not much if anything. Cool video tho.
