Main takeaways: Stay humble and take the time to plan out your path to higher stakes and higher levels of competition. Then, execute on it daily, routinely. There will be many emotional setbacks (financial too) and you must accept this and have the grit to persevere.

2:24:00 to 2:24:30 is key to this podcast with executing what you say you are going to do i.e waking up at 6am everyday or going to the gym 5 days a week. Hard work and remain consistent and resilent throughout the hard times and at the end of the journey maybe you too will have that $1,000,000 graph. Really loved this podcast. Going to listen to it a 2nd time and take some notes after passively listening the first time around.

Here are my main takeaways, I took a bunch of notes for the GTO Wizard contest a while ago but forgot to post them, hope it's not too late to still be in it =P - Figure out what you should be focusing on at the start of every playing session - Study deliberately, not just randomly checking hands - "You are who you choose to be". Build the specific identity you want to have. - It's encouraging when you stick to your process and it yields results. - Be wary of passive tilt, when you're on a downswing you unconsciously end up playing too passively. - Always remember that losing is part of the process. You lose all the time in poker. - Take the time to look back and realize how far you've come.

It's funny at 33mn. Reminds me of my ou own experiments, playing 2nl fast format, Ofc to put that into perspective it was like at the beginning of those format. I noticed that people where fit and fold and were Just overfolding everything so i decided to open every BTN and SB 100% and CB range 75% every flop and then go passive if i were called, because once They were calling They were sticky.and usualy had better, but in another way i put some crazy badbeat with 72o like hands i were not supposed to have. I made 80BI in a month doing that, playing with no hud, on a smartphone and 4 tables. Was a funny moment

My experience with poker is you run like a monster for a little while then you give it all back later at higher stakes. I really dont believe anyone keeps the money in poker. Its just a short term loan.

@@wallstreetpro4472 the average poker pro is barely scraping by, if they even win at all. That doesn't mean the best aren't making a lot of money though. ~5% of poker players are winners, and only the top few percent of all winning players make a decent living. Only maybe the top 1% of the top 1% make high 6-figure yearly earnings, but it's definitely possible to be good enough to win a lot on a yearly basis.
