Idk why you didn’t bring this up, but okra is also a 3 unit harvest per crop like Tomatoes. Technically, you’re still gonna get way more tomatoes in 2hrs than okra, but because of the vast difference in price, it’s still more efficient to farm okra. Working within the 2hr limit, you’ll get around 150 okra, and at best 750 tomatoes (technically it would take a bit over 2hrs by 5min to get that amount, but it’s close enough.) 750 tomatoes comes to a grand total of 16,500 star coins. Meanwhile, 150 okra is worth 17,100 star coins. Therefore, okra actually beats out tomatoes.

If you have an Advanced Ancient Cooker, and enough Ginger in your Inventory, you can make Tasty Veggies with some of the Pumpkins to increase their value. Alternatively, combining Pumpkins with Fish in the Cooker also works (I don't remember the name of the specific dish).

This is an awesome video! I've only been playing since Christmas and this is great info to know. I wish I had seen it before I started. I could have made tons more money so far than I have because I used all of my dreamlight to open areas I didn't need before opening the biome with pumpkins. But I know now and can work towards unlocking it!

If you want another tip, once you get pumpkins you can either A. Sell them as they are (like in the vid) or you can make pumpkin puffs and sell those for 1480 a piece. (A very pricey process tho.) but the profit is around 800 PER PUMPKIN PUFF.

I just started a second valley, I’ve been playing on switch and my new valley is on my desktop, and I’m hoping the tips here will help me earn money faster than my first time around 😅 I didn’t focus on gardening the first time and making money was a pain. This time though I’m putting what I’ve learned to good use

The price that goofy sells carrots are 66 coins, but if the player were to sell it, one carrot sells for 44 coins. Idk if you address this later, since I just started the video, but thought that mistake should be addressed. Much love tho❤

If you have the new DLC, pineapples would be another good thing to harvest they are 532 coins.

I have a problem because I can't plant anything. I'm playing for few days there animation but seeds stay in inventory.

Do you need to clear the bones to get over the river in sunlit plateau to get to forgotten lands? And if so how do o do it. My shovel doesn't seem to work on them at moment

There are two entrances, one to the right when coming up to sunlit from the plaza and another across the bridge. If my memory is right, you shouldn’t have to remove the bones to access it. You will need to continue questing though to unlock the upgrade to remove bones

Thanks for your tips. I'm concerned that I won't be able to unlock the Forgotten Lands. I either ate or didn't get the Crunchie Candies and now I can't complete Scar's Root Beer and Crunchie Candy request. Do I have to complete Scar's request to get into the Forgotten Lands?

I'm not exactly sure about the type of crunchy candies but you may be able to cook the candies to fix that issue. If not, put in a support ticket with DDV. However, unlocking biomes isn't locked by quests so as long as you have enough dreamlight to unlock the sunlit plateau and the forgotten lands next, you will be able to get that biome.

​@@LetzPlayK I think she's referring to the "Extra Fizzy Root Beer" ingredients found in the Vitalis Mine. If I remember right there was a special type of Ginger with the Crunchy Candies in a chest near the Campfire. It's been so long since I've done that quest tbh.

Wait though, the Okra is like tomatoes right in that it gives 3 Okra per crop? So that would mean each crop gives you 342 coins vs 170 per crop for 45 less minutes. Are the Okra seeds more expensive or more work to grow?

That is true but for me, I can harvest more onion because it's ready in less time, and the biome is unlocked for less Dreamlight. So that's why I recommended the Forest of Valor. Onion seeds cost 50 and Okra costs 135. It's just my recommendation though, and if you prefer the Glade then that's a great choice too. Can't really go wrong! 🩵

Don’t sell cherries, use five to cook and it’s a good way to give you that surf boost. I only cook cherries, and raspberries, the others I sell

Hi! It’s actually not a dress but a coat that I’ve paired with shorts to look like a dress! I got it from the premium shop so we should see it come back around in the future!
