In this video we are going to remake one of Charlie Puth's singles from his new album 'CHARLIE'!
In this Charlie Puth Logic Pro Breakdown we will look at how to tune audio tracks in Logic Pro, how to use Logic Pro Stock plugins, how to make a bass using the alchemy synth, how to create drums with Logic's Producer Kits, how to record vocals, how to mix vocals together, how to EQ in logic pro, all of the sounds and production techniques used by Charlie Puth producing Loser, Charlie's beautiful vocal melody lines, how to sample audio clips, how to record electric and acoustic guitars, how to sample real sounds in your music, how to use buses in logic pro, how to comp audio, and how to layer multiple backing vocals on top of each other.
To make this remake more of a challenge, let's try and do it in ONE HOUR! And then I'll try my best to sing the Lead Vocal of 'Loser' LIVE!

Thanks Gabe! I genuinely find it to be one of the best ways to learn. Learning from your favourite artists is extremely fun and interesting. Same way a guitarist learns by learning how to play all of John Frusciante’s guitar solos 😄 (might also be me)

Oh wow I wouldn’t be sure which exact kit. One of those producer kits will definitely work however. Sunset+ will probably do a decent job

@@93Acres Actually quick question! If you can't answer it because you would have to charge me money totally understandable haha but what should I use in Logic to make it sound almost live. I tried using just a chromeVerb but it still sounds too smooth and I dont like it. I have a "raspy-ish" voice and it doesn't sound as raspy. I'm using a a sm7b with a apollo solo just in case you need that info.

@@atticus_foust I think I understand what you mean. My voice is pretty gentle so I used saturation, and sometimes some bus distortion, to give it a bit more grit / beef. Pre Amps could help too but I will leave that talk to mixing engineers!
