nah, it's limited to 42 frames. So one could only drop frames or accept it.. :s

@@dollarprincess803 I found a way around it but it’s kind of a pain. I used an app called KineMaster to put the video together with the last frames but smaller. That way when it’s zoomed in on that frame it would look normal sized

Try to leave the Key Frame step out. I had the same problem so I tinkered with it and it worked. I had two GIFs that I used. One needed the key frame done and the other one didn’t! Good luck.

Hey! It does work on my Series 6, the main thing you have to do is marking the Key Photo towards the end of the gif on the Live Photo. Then it works!

Ok so for the ones who are unable to see the moving actions you HAVE TO SET A KEY PHOTO. I was having this issue as well and this is how I resolved. Save the gif as a Live Photo go to edit in photos and then select a key photo and then set as your Apple Watch photo. You Have to set key photo or it will not do the animation. 🙃

Elektron ok so what I did was use gify I saved it as a full screen Live Photo. Then went to photos hit edit then saved key photo on the Live Photo at almost the end (I noticed it doesn’t work if it’s in the beginning) then from the photo I made it my watch face. It took a second but then it works. -is this what you did too?

Hey I was having this same issue. But if you open your Live Photo (I normally add mine to my favorites to make it easily accessible) then click the share button>scroll all the way to the bottom>tap [create watch face] it should be able to work that way.

I did everything including making it short and it does not move on my apple watch what else should I do?

You probably saved it as a gif and not as a Live Photo. In the GIPHY app you can save as a Live Photo by clicking the “...”
